Great stuff, hopefully this will help a lot of other users out there not win a League Championship trophy for their peewee team.

So says the 0-3 Gold owner with the 30th ranked offense. Shouldn't you be retired by now old man?..

I only posted that offensive setup as EDB's setup was terrible and overly complex. If any team is going to use my advice, they are probably not in a position even with my advice to win any championship. But it will improve many Copper AI's and is a good base AI to start with.

My comment wasn't directed at you.

It's a cleverly designed trap we're setting up, we are going to tank the fist 16 games of the regular season, then go 4 & 0 for the rest of the season (I mean that's the goal everyone talks about, winning the last 4 games of the season!?!? ).

I honestly have to say, having run some test that this is a very sound strategy, one that is very very good at masking a weaker defense.

As much as it may have been hated on I honestly +1 this offensive set up of my good friend, its really a solid strategy.

It's an old school offense that would work well against lesser defenses, but any good Gold defense would probably be able to shut it down. In this new modern day Pee-Wee, passing is king and you just need enough rushing to balance things out. I tried a pure rushing offense last season and good teams shut it down hard, and I know something about rushing offenses since my Bears have been one since S12.

That offense would work well in Copper and get you into the playoffs in Silver, but that's about it. Rushing offenses are much easier to scout and plan a defense against, and good DC's will see that and use it against that offense.

Some of the best Gold offenses lately have been pass every down except rush on 3rd/4th & short, and it works! Defenses are evolving so that simple offense is slowly becoming less effective, but it's still a very potent offense, much more so than EDB's offense.

No seriously, but I am 5-0 in gold and 90-11 in gold overall in the regular season. There is such a thing as gameplanning too much, or at least that is my belief.

Interjection! That seems more like cheating on some guy's girl and giving her a STD

my opinion is that in gold where the DAIs mainly rely on probabilities ...throwing in some random plays will at times upset a defense ...if there was some way to work those random plays in amongst some more appropriate plays within some 'auto-adjust' packages, then it could give an OC the edge over oponents
