You want to switch teams look outside the league.

It isnt unfair.

Simply put as.

It happens in Real Life So Why not allow it to happen here.

One guy knowing what you did last season is no big deal for this coming season.

It would only provide a small input into one team. There are 15 others. Most players change over in the offseason which is also when most people boost or in some cases don't boost. Once the player is gone he can no longer see the player stats from his previous team. The other option is for team GM's to ask their players to only make stats available to the GM that way no other player can see them. I don't see there being any problem with players signing with teams from the same conference. It happens in real sports why not here. If you want to go after a good player from another team GO FOR IT!! It's up to the player to decide to sign or for the current GM to try and keep him/her.

Sign ANYONE you want... there is nothing wrong with it. Most players don't have insight into the tactics just what the gameplan is and many couldn't remember what it was from a few weeks back. Keep your forum clean and there will be no old info about past games. That's for the GM to worry about.

I guess Candyman can post here, he will likely be back next season with that 0-4 record.

i promised i would not say anything so i am biting my tongue here... i could point out many many examples, but wen the person metioned actually SET those tactics and made many many friends except for 1 who i will refuse to mention (because he talks about himself enough on these pages) and is released by team, and before signing gives his word that he would never use any info he has against his old team AND that the team that signed him beat his old team without the help from the former player, and this newly signed player justs wants to play to the coaches set tactics... and be a player... nothing more... and this is also a person who took money out of their own pocket to help a former teammate build his player (he was that type of gm) and put his heart and soul into said team only to be attacked by some (again name withheld) clownshoe everytime he made a comment, and wen released still told the owner how much he cared about them and their team.... and wen you only hear the owner, the qb(i'll just say qb, because i dont want things personal) and the unnamed clowshoe will be sure to have their backs... but other than that, this players defense i am positive will say no ill words towards him as they all know he is a standup caring person

but i would just like clay and bebsa to know that ive said what ive had to say to both of you, i have respect for clay still, and have many friends on this team, i offered my friendship and assured that i would not disclose anything i may know about their team and it was not good enough. i am a straight up guy and if i felt what i was doing was wrong, i would not have done it. i dont understand when this team KNOWS that you would not give information on them.... what the problem is...? i love this league and how its run, i have many friends here.... and if im leaving this league its not gonna be by signing a contract, i wanna earn it... that being said... i told myself and my coach i would do my best to not respond, but being the player in mention, i will not give examples or reasons (i will leave that up to the smart people)... but knowing that my new team handled your team before i even joined it and knowing that i would never cross the line and give team information away... what are you angry about?? is it anger or jealously that another gained a player that could help them?? i have fed into this drama way too much already and i dont plan on addressing it anymore after this post.... so for about the 5th or 6th time i wish the cajuns nothing but the best of luck this year and other than that there is nothing i can say to make anything better, and there is no point for me to feed into everything and make this worse. so im sorry if you feel the way you do, if anything i would think you would have any advantage but then again, after what happened and the ensuing drama caused by my release from your team, i have ZERO interest in coordinating ever again. i am only a player... and im sorry but you have made a mountain out of a mole hill

im gonna leave it there and thats it because there are so many things i would love to say but i'll take the higher rd here. hopefully this thread ends here before smart people start bringing out all types examples of how this happens every single year in the NFL!! let alone the glb. if you guys keep this going you are just going to look bitter and hopefully youll realize that b4 anymore post are made... good luck this year, maverick price is a lumberjack now and its that simple... let it go and stop the drama.

Anyway, I'm not pointing out examples, I just asked for some of the owners to put their two cents in about this issue. This does happen in the NFL but only because it is an elite league, here there are thousands of teams you can join. My personal opinion is that if a player has innate knowledge of your team, he should not be allowed to sign within the league.

Perhaps we should have an owner's counsol. If a team in the BBB 6 does something that is thought to be unethical, a PM will be sent to all the owners to vote on the situation. Majority rules, a tie will be construed as a vote against the proposal.
This would be for all new issues, nothing in the past.

No offense, because I don't disagree with it being poor sportsmanship, but what would you do about it anyway. It's not like we really have the ability to do anything beyond making fun of the person for being unethical. Or is there something I'm missing?

I just wanted to say that I think Mavs is crazy, but I had every faith that he wouldn't be an asshat and do anything to intentionally sabotage his old team. No one told him he had to go, he made the choice himself. No one asked him to go, he made that choice himself. Its just a shame he cracked up after an ugly loss.

I'm hoping he has a good season with the lumberjacks and that they have a good mental health benefits plan.

I didn't post ANYTHING personal about anyone. I just gave my opinion about the question at hand. I didn't even mention the word GM or anything, all I said was what I felt about ANY player who left their team during the season to start against them in a game that hasn't been played yet, that's all.
That is the question up for debate, everyone has their own opinions and I think that is what we are giving here.

QFT. You saved me a lot of typing.

Not only that, I ended up releasing my Defensive Coordinator about halfway through last season due to a kerfuffle on my team's forum (At his request). He also happened to have a starting DE who was one of the highest levels on the team. hould I have said to him "Oh, by the way, don't sign with a BBB #6 team. It'd be completely unfair to my team and give them an unfair advantage" ...? I don't think so. I actually would've had no hard feelings had he signed with one of you guys. It would have made me want to beat that team much more, but I wouldn't have cried foul and said the other team was a poor sport or cheating as a result. It is what it is.

Weren't you the same guys on here complaining when the Red Raiders brought some players over to join this league last season? Multiplayer signings happen in the NFL too. I asked for owners to review this and tell me what they thought. I respected you Sully. All I asked was for a league consensus, I didn't point a finger, I didn't mention a name. If you guys feel the need to jump on here and defend yourselves, that's fine. If you guys don't care if this league is fair and fun for everybody, fine by me. I posed a question for the owners of the league.
That is all.

how is it fair not allowing a player to sign to a divison rival? That makes the rivalary that much more interesting.

I don't see where recalling my scenario from last year was jumping on you, but to each their own. And in regards to the situation last year, the problems I saw were first that the team in question was being gutted, and second, the owner of Fort Worth was listed a a GM of the team in question, and third, the team in question was in a higher league, thus having higher leveled players.

Apples and oranges, my friend. Apples and oranges.

I secretly have a seperate game account with players on each and everyone of your teams. That's how I will dominate you this season.
