Another thing to consider when factoring in the finances lost over the past few seasons is the amount of team mergers. There hasn't been A TON but definitely a handful at the elite level from long standing owners, like myself, who now basically field "half a team" instead of a full one. MMD is a good example. We were a full boost/semi-full custom team from Season 9 and on. Then another Gold team that met the same criteria, the Nebraska Soul Assassins, merged with us and their owner became a co-owner of my team and sold his. Then this season the KC Llamas, another long standing pee-wee owner, did the same, merging with MMD and creating one team between the two and selling off his old team. Instead of all of us creating 12-30 fully equipped/boosting players for 3 different teams and creating 165 players we now combine for 55 total players creating one team at 33% of the cost.
