I'm an owner that fields 40-50 players each season. I dont mind the boosting and the initial purchase..it's the custom EQ that kills...900 flex points for each player is pretty hefty for the gain you get. I believe a league without the custom EQ..or even if they changed the level requirement of custom EQ to 15 that would apease everyone or most of us in Gold.

I think it's working as intended. No way they take custom EQ out of the game. I believe the game is more designed to make teams want to find agents and play with multiple agents on their team. As it stands now, it cost a fortune to own your own team and all the players on it and that it should be. It is definitely a clear advantage when the owner of the team owns 70% of all the players or enough players to start on both sides of the ball. That owner knows what tactics are set, knows he is training and training where it is needed, knows to get EQ without having to be reminded and can switch tactics on a dime. to where team owners that only own a few players have to deal with "trusting" it's being done.

I can see both sides but the more I think about it do we really want a bunch of one man shows ending up in gold? I don't. If you can't afford it like the one chap was saying then you do have the option to not buy it. DoRD was pretty successful without it.

Tdos: The cost is high to keep teams from monopolizing the league. If it cost a lot it will allow other teams the opportunity to make it to the big dance and win. If I owned most of the players on my team each season I would have really great odds of being in the Championship each season. The high cost prevents that.

first off im sorry i came off really strong about this, i want to apologize to quzzdude you may not be aware of the scandals of season 15 and 16 where agents were banding together to force the glb team to change it and also were threatening agents that did boost saying that they would help teams beat them.

and i assumed that this was all part of it

Guzz has a private league and private forum for teams who do not boost or buy custom. It's like a tournament but its a lot of head to head games played through scrimmages. They also have a playoff and championship game again all played through scrimmages.

Not that I ever agreed, but this was said for teams who agreed to not boost or buy CE and then if they all of a sudden did.

The bottom half of that message is assuming that your entire league had agreed to not boost, which is clearly indicated in the message.

If a league had agreed that they were indeed boosting then the "risk" of accepting and turning your back on an agreement would obviously not apply, considering you had not accepted the agreement.

Also, I'll go ahead and THREATEN you now and say that I will help any team that ask for my help to play against you, because to be quite honest it is my choice to help whatever team I want.

That post was obviously 100% correct considering EDB predicted the downfall of peewee 2 seasons before it actually started, and not only did he predict it but offered a way to prevent it, and you and hundreds, and I mean hundreds of people shit all over him for it.

SCANDAL my ass, the only scandal was that EDB discovered how hopelessly retarded this community was and we lost a great member of that community because of it.

Pee Wee Gold hasn't fallen. Do you expect teams to keep forking over tons of flex when they can't win a championship in this league? There is an elite group within the elite group and trying to join the elites takes a lot of hard work. Some don't mind and some do so you will have teams coming and going season after season and that's expected. Also team owners who own most of the players on the team win and decide to hang it up. What more do they need to prove? You won with the best, so there isn't really a reason to keep paying tons of flex to try again when you have accomplished something quite difficult. I don't see Gold as being dead. In fact each season it gets stronger and stronger. This season is one of the best groups from top to bottom. If anything it's doing exact;y what it was intended to do.

I wasn't really talking about Gold League, as you can find in other forums I too agree that Gold is fine this season, and older players taking breaks is to be expected.

The "Fall" of peewee I was discussing starting this season is the fact that only 2 copper leagues are being used this season, which is just absolutely ridiculously less than just last season.

I'm non boost, and it's not about money, it's a protest of a crap sim. nuff said about that. Trust me I can afford to have more dots, and turned away a lot of boosters.
