i think hes leaning towards chicago, but its probably the dumbest career move of all time...
hes never going to be jordan, or better than jordan...he wont even sniff 6 titles, and when he does win his 1st one, its going to be because he had a better supporting crew...but hes not anywhere near as competitve as jordan, or even kobe to win multiple championships in a row
if he wants to be a legend, he should come to NY...he could go down in history as the greatest NY basketball player ever, in the worlds largest city, and a great basketball town...the expectations would be lesser than they would be in chicago, because of the recent history in NY, but he would have to deliver a championship in his first 3 seasons
I agree with most of this, that he'll never be Jordan or even Kobe. But I disagree with your last paragraph. The expectations would be way more then in Chicago, simply because NYC IS the biggest city in the world. Sure, winning a title would make him a legend in NY. But losing wouldn't be an option because everything is so magnified in NY. I don't think he could possibly bring immediate success to NY, and that wouldn't work.
no..he would have to win in chicago, because they have pieces in place to make a title run, and hes always going to be compared to jordan...hell theres a statue of jordan in front of the united center hed have to walk by everyday as a reminder of what he has to be
new york on the other hand, yes we do have high expecatations, but NY'ers are educated sports fans, and realize lebron +david lee, gallinari and wilson chandler isnt better than cleveland...u throw in another all star, then obviously the expectations become increased
