Anyone know what happened with ACS? They were 8-2 seems like they really didn't have a reason just to hang it up unless something major happened to deertag (with his health).

LE said he didn't know, so I doubt anyone else does.

I think it would be funny as hell if the majority of owners in Gold sell their team mid-season b/c the sim sucks. Maybe somebody would finally notice.

This was such odd timing, too. They had played 4/5 of their tough games.

In the West, 6 teams (maybe 7 with Pain Nation, and I don't mean to slight MMD but they're not boosting) have really separated themselves. Now that number decreases by one. This will make the fight for the top 2-3 playoff seeds much more interesting as they'll mean much more.

If the AI's are in place and tagging was already done or isn't a big part of their defense, ACS could still be decent for the remainder of the season and might still beat some of the lower teams and get a decent record and get a playoff spot.

That would be funny. Everyone would try to win the first few games, and then get cold feet and try to lose the last 2...would be hilarious to see.

I can attest to the CPU retaining the AIs. After selling my team yesterday I beat the Providence Steamrollers in a scrim by about 50 points.

I don't tag (I tried it once, it's not for me), so my normal AI is all in there.

Also, I'm glad to see that you have no response to my counter rant. Maybe an apology is in order?

No, I still think it would have been better to voice your concerns on various forums while keeping your team to the end of the season and quiting once you were out of the playoffs, or on day 40.

By rage quiting mid season, you are giving those who will play you an unfair advantage over those who already played you when it comes to a better record. Plus it is unfair to those on your team. I don't like or agree with what you did and I think to rage quit in the middle of the season is selfish and immature.

Not saying you didn't have good reasons to quit, only that those who rage quit in the middle of the season display poor judgment on their timing without consideration to others.

They use tagging for the rushing QB's. They didn't tag the Bears, though. Not sure if that's b/c they didn't think you'd run with Rar! or b/c they just didn't do it.

I didn't try a QB Rollout because their defense was setup well against that type of play and presumed they would tag.
