Well.... we're just a bunch of *GLB worn* old fellas, so if AI's not needed => why bother ?

We've actually started to use "Advanced" AI (make no mistake here!) few seasons ago; but do I see a huge difference here..? Honestly no.
A. it's not usually worth the time spent on adjusting AI.
(EDIT -- it is, but I mean the way I've seen people to build Advanced AI-packages, with 300 lines of code, that I used in the past too) = not worth it.
At that point adjusting = rewriting the whole thing, if You don't have multiple-oversized-packages-to-choose-from) As said it's not worth the trouble
B. 14-15 times out of 16 we use what I call "conservative AI": especially in offense. Meaning we do what we know we're able to do, and don't adjust (at least not a lot) based on defense. (Sometimes we do, but mostly just for fun).
C. if we adjust it usually can be done easily, just changing the basic settings

D. We do win more than we lose -> with or without Advanced AI, in AAA-league.
As said most of the time it's not worth the trouble: despite huge scouting efforts & adjustments & etc -> we will lose to a better team 8-9 times out of 10, (10/10 if they have any idea what they're doing) - so...
So how about just takin' a look every now and then, and PM if You see something is terribly wrong ?
I just feel sometimes it would be nice to get 3rd, 4th or even 5th idea -> why we should / should not do some things
