The problem with that is what if there is another team like Dyslexik Tedd's Monntana Clubb Football that everyone knows are a slow build team therefore will just pick against them every week

All you do is yank them out of the game. There are 32 teams so removing up to 3 teams does not effect the game at all. I did that each week when I ran it.

No I didn't see it, but there are still a ton of flaws to that idea. What if a team knows they aren't going to do well in gold after the 1st few games so they decided to just give up and not game plan? You wouldn't be able to just yank them out in the middle of the season... therefore they would be another team picked against every game.
