yes it is because my intentions were not to hurt the team!just ask some of the other owners from teams I play on as to how I would help them...just the other day I was sent another higher contract offer for my wr on the barcleona bulls to help pay for my level 8 boost...I told him it could be money spent on someone else because I already bought all my equipment and really didnt need the money at this time and the contract I had was sufficient enough!

well then take this one for the team! Just do as you said you would and be the back up. Get in there during the games that are blow outs and maybe if your playing a cup cake. build through training and then when your contract is up then leave or ask to be released during the next off season.

I am not sure at this point a pm would even get through to ask for a release in the offseason and I dont have access to our private team forum.hes there for them to use as they see fit...i will do my part and make sure hes being trained to help out when hes called on...thats the best I can do.

The facts......
You acknowledge you were the backup and I never misled you about this.
Our first two games were against tough teams and our starting QB has lots of stamina.
I told you I would try to get you more playing time BUT you sent multiple PMs after game 2 asking again to get off the roster without even waiting for the games against lesser teams to roll around.
There was no problem with communication. No one lied. No one misled anyone.
rodsmith13 proved himself to be one of those players who completely knew the situation he walked into but he was going to be a constant problem. You unilaterally accepted our contract - no one forced you. It would be different if you had been told you would be the starter.
Keep starting threads which insult me if it makes you feel better. I am always straight up and people know I'm not the one acting irrationally.

So someone goes back on their word, PMs me multiple times asking to break their commitment, starts a thread ripping me, and I'm not supposed to respond?

this game is supposed to be fun, if someone on my team is ruining my fun, exit stage left, sometimes its worth the chemistry hit to be rid of a bad situation.
but to each there own
but to each there own

This isn't turmoil, it is one bad apple. I'm the GM of the Merkins and he was emailing me asking off the team as well.
Here is the problem - people like rodsmith13 think there is nothing wrong with signing with a team as a backup and them immediately asking off of that team because you don't like the playing time.
Chemistry matters and players need to know that. No one players is bigger than the rest of the team.

Opinions are like ass holes, we all get em, let me bare mine...I would cut someone in a heart beat and take the hit to chemistry. The rest of my players would back me up I'm sure.
Save your $$$ on the rest of his season, better yet trade him for cash and make out both ways. Either way, this lame drama is not worth the tiny hit to chemistry.

It is very easy for everyone to say to take the chemistry hit. We operated that way last year. One backup wanted off so we let them go, another saw that and he wanted to go so we let him go, and so on. It got out of control and our team took a nose dive in the 2nd half of the season when chemistry counts double.
We are trying to win. We intentionally structured out team so that no one's contract ended in mid-season. I'm not going to start a pattern after game 1 or 2 that will go on the entire season and hurt the team because someone won't honor his commitment. Hopefully, rodsmith13 thinks about his actions before he signs somewhere next year.
