Crib IMO over anyone. 2nd round playoff loss yes, but to Final Thought who crushed everyone else. 14-7 loss in OT is worthy of Gold if anyone is moving up that didn't win a championship.

I thought we wanted Gold to be the most competitive? Dirty Inc. was the next best team, and now they're in. So what's the problem?

I disagree, you can't compare the quality of opponents like that, it is too objective...

Dirty absolutely deserves to advance over Crib Midgets, but they don't deserve to advance over the Hartford Shocks who went 15-1 and made it 2 rounds further in the playoffs.

The problem is dirty inc is only the next best team in your opinion, you can sit here and talk in circles all day talking about matchups of teams, but I will not be convinced that Dirty Inc. has PROVED that they are better in any way than the Hartford Shock, GIVEN ONLY REGULAR SEASON AND PLAYOFF GAMES, as scrimmages don't count.

Actually I am right there is a team that tied with DIRTY in PA that went 16-0 also

This ^ Crib should have beat FT to go to the Conf. championship if they wouldn't have missed that FG in the 2nd or 3rd quarter

Exactly, so if FT is good enough for Gold, why Dirty over Crib (who actually beat FT during the season)?

Because, with my opinion excluded, dirty went the same distance in the playoffs, had the same record, and using the first tiebreaker PA has a slight edge over Crib.

Any 16-0 team that didn't go to the final, obviously won the first match up between the team they lost to in the CONFERENCE playoffs...

Now he's just talking out of his ass. Yes, Dirty shouldn't be there. Yes, there were other teams that were in line, including the Hartford Shocks. But like Ed said, Dirty is arguably one of the best teams that lost on a freak play. They've competed at a high level for at least 3 seasons now where they've been 15-1+. It should be Crib > SAS > Dirty if we're talking about 16-0 teams.

Just my 2 cents.

Yes, but still gold is there to take the best possible teams and in my opinion Crib>DIRTY and I would even say SAS>DIRTY (SAS actually did tie DIRTY in PA)

Ahh... I was counting the playoff games...

If they did tie, it would go to the second tiebreaker, PF, which goes to dirty.

If they're going to stick to the tiebreaker and that's it, then so be it. PA is bogus as I know for a fact Crib loaded bogus DAI at the end of the season (see the last 2 games) to not show anything for playoffs. PA is a stupid tiebreaker anyway when they don't play the same opponents. All I know is Crib is a missed FG (that was an extra point distance) or a 4th and G from the 1 away from beating FT and rolling into Gold. FT has been held back for one reason or another for a few seasons and finally got there (long time deserving). Crib pushed them to the limit and easily could've won. I haven't watched the Dirty playoff game, but I do know it was close. If you have to choose a tiebreaker, then so be it. There are just better ones that PA -- like OT losses the way they do in hockey.

By judging from the silver tourney I agree here. But there are a lot of very competitive teams still in silver. I think Dirty is deserving and all, but there are a lot of great teams that are gold quality still. Greatest's team is pretty awesome as well, and they lost to final thought. FCA, SoA, STD are also all good A golden ticket is a tuff one to earn. There are a lot of teams that are good out there, but the fact is you can earn you way into gold by just winning 4 playoff games in a row. And if you can't do it at the silver level, what makes you think you can do it at the gold level?

That's how my team did it. But still a lot of people say we didn't deserve it, and frankly I don't rly care. People are going to hate you on regardless of what you do. Good luck to you MikeInFl, Gold is no joke.
