You just need to go from WE AA 8th seed to WE AAA 4th seed and then to WE Pro... That would kill any roster, but luckily we have the same guys all the time, so recruiting is easy, but the beating might be brutal this season.

Stay young, grow into your league,
recruiting old just makes your roster turnover faster.

We are planning on keeping our corps of level 55's and take a beating this season and then fly through Pro later. Recruiting old is like getting drunk every night - next morning you wake up with the same headache and wondered why you went through so much hassle for so little...

Ya we ran into the retirement bug this season as well. I agree that players need to grow faster and get to the higher levels faster or this game will be in pretty bad shape. We basically had to make a decision to either keep getting older or try to rebuild and see what happens. hopefully Bort and the guys can get it together sooner rather than later

We've got a farm waiting in the wings, but it's still gonna be a few season before they're ready for WEPL...

Gotta recruit for like 6 more seasons lol

I hate to toot my own horn but i was warning about this back in s9 and elaborated on it extensivley right before the WL started. Nobody listened.

The shortsightedness of the GLB brain trust is the #1 problem with this game.

Makes you wonder what problems ar gonna pop up in 3-5 seasons from the current crop of changes....

Agree. As it is now, you have two or three seasons in the pro leagues and then you hit decline. They should rethink the levelling and have younger players level way quicker and then flatten it out so the corps of good players grow bigger. Right now you only have 2-3 seasons of (good) players to recruit from and that is not enough.

^ This is my number 1 gripe; by the time you make it this far you have 1 maybe 2 seasons to grab it before decline sets in. I like the idea of leveling up faster 1-25 and then it gets slower so you have a chance to see your dots in the upper echelons perform.

At Pro you essentially have no choice but to recruit declining dots.

Assume that each WL carries a 50 man roster...

32 * 50 = 1600 WL dots

Assuming each carries a full roster...

32 * 55 = 1760...

Not much left for the Pros

Most of the teams in Alpha seems to be able to compete. The league isnīt as strong as in previous seasons, but it should at least still be competitive, although the top teams will probably have a lot of easy games. Unfortunately we are not one of the top teams, and it looks like we will have plenty of competition.
