Will have 120+ speed, 100 strength, 86 carrying, and capped catching. That plus Bruiser, SYM, and Mr. Reliable = a power FB with speed who can catch.

With the new archetypes you can easily build this way. I'm starting out a scat build that will be more of a receiver but hopefully be effective on some outside runs.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1167235 - at level 72 will be 140 speed, 92 agility. Only 62 strength and 65 carrying, but he is more of a receiver, and try getting that without any ALGs in speed for the first 54 levels. Of course he's actually going to be faster while running routes this season because he still gets scat back VA this season. By the playoffs he will have an effective 150 speed 102 agility while running routes when you add in track star and scat back.

Dirty Deeds ended up being #1 FB in WL Alpha this season. Started season as a 64 and is now 67. Scored a TD in championship game victory.

I can see going with ~120 speed if strength is closer to 100. The LBs that can cover a 120 speed receiving FB won't be able to tackle him very well. imo the whole "you must get one attribute really really high" concept is overrated.

are you sure about that? ive run LBs through the builder than wind up with 138 speed, 80 agility, 89 tackling, 80 strength, and 70 vision... i think that would be ample to keep up with and tackle a 120 speed FB with close to 100 strength.

Built a scatback on day 40...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Started with a 27 in speed (added my 4 free basic EQ for a 31)
agility 18
catching 10
vision 8

started with 8 training pt's plus got the extra two since I created him on day 40 and signed to a d-league team by day 41
started with 10 BT's

training speed was at 34%
Spent the 5 BT's for the 10% increase in attribute

trained 5 times at 37%
added 10 more BT's for another 10% increase (total of 20%)

Got my 1st training on that today...

I will have it capped at 49 before leveling to 2. (still have 15 original sp's)

rinse and repeat...
Do the same thing to Agility

add the 5 BT's 10% increase...
and then 10 BT's 10 % increase...

get it capped ASAP...

do the same for catching and Vision, but distribute sp's into speed and agility while they are training...get them at very high cap

when your close to capping them with about 15 or 20 sp's...save them up and do it..

This will be a fun experiment...

the problem with that is you make David V. Goliath work. That's one reason I kept strength down below 65 on Dirty Deeds. Go with high agility, elusive style, break tackle%, and keep DvG from working. I figure most LBs weigh more than him, so on about 90% of high level LBs, I am taking away their +30% make tackle bonus from DvG.
