I called that game. I knew from when we played Korb they would easily handle the scorgasms. Dont underestimate Korb. Good job guys.

Being underestimated worked in our favor last season. We had a rough patch in the beginning and no one gave us much thought until the end when they realized how much we were dominating our games.

Underdog status counts for a lot since they can't change their strategy at halftime once you start kicking their unprepared teeth in.

Actually, all that puts into perspective is how good Korb is.

The WEPL is one of the top 3 leagues in GLB, but that doesn't mean they're head and shoulders above all the rest. Korb won AAA#2 for a reason...they already beat a few teams that could play in this league. You can't expect every average team in the WEPL to blow them out.

Which then also shows that the division name does not really tell the story on the talent level of teams. There were 2 other teams in AA last season that could compete here as well.

Yea, but that's mostly because the relegation/promotion system hasn't had enough time.

In about 5-7 seasons, this should no longer be the case.

Thats true Hampe. The issue is that who wants to wait even 3 seasons (thats over 5 real time months), much less 5-7, to get in a league where their games are meaningful..

There are some teams in Western Europe AAA 2 Zeta, that can compete in this league right now. Hopefully the next team to move on will be Antwerp and not the Pimps.

There is no big difference in the levels between most pro teams and the top AAA teams. I didnīt have any doubts that we can compete in this league from the start and donīt havy to worry about relagated.

In the next 3-5 season some strong teams will move into this league and it would be a mistake thinking they canīt compete here just because they played last season in AAA.

I'm looking forward to the time when the new teams being promoted are really in danger of being relegated right back to where they came from. That will be interesting to see.

Or better yet, maybe the new teams will stay here and old teams will get bumped down... now that Would be interesting to see.

With the money the promoted teams get from playing the playoffs (often several seasons in a row), and with the positive dynamic that comes together with success (I know what I'm talking about with my team ), I think promoted teams (the one that promoted through success, not through teams switching leagues) won't be the one to get relegated.

That's a real possibility, I think many people have it in their heads that being in the "pro" league automatically gives you a better player I guess. IMO i would welcome the better competition coming up here and giving us a run for our money, it would be quite funny seeing some of the best teams now getting their butts kicked by some team from A#4564536
