No, I tried.

The reason being no is because computer players don't level up. I was able to get the team to the playoffs (which was an accomplishment) but then we got smoked in our first game.

I think QB, HB, 2G, C, 1 DT, 2 DE, 2 CB, 1 SS, 1 FS would be enough to compete using a 3-4.

This is what I was thinking. I figured that you'll be playing at level 1 vs level 10-13s. However, one rushing QB can easily win you a play-off game. And 2-3 defensive players at LB/S can help out too.

Truthfully the only reason we even made the playoffs was because there were a few other CPU teams and slow builders as well. We beat a few legit teams later in the season which was really tough but got annihilated in our playoff game as our defense was just too damn slow to do anything. If CPU players leveled up you could definitely do it.

You wonder why they don't...

I mean, really what's the point in having them if they can only be semi-decent the first game or two when everyone is level 1? Wouldn't it make sense to have them level up to keep things competitive.

On my old Account i made the playoffs with with humans only on the skill position quit a few times... more than half the players being CPU can still get you to the playoffs with a really good gameplan...

anybody that says other wise can F' themselves i've done it before...
