Whats funny is all these people who just love Boston area teams. I doubt they gave a dman ten years ago when none of their teams were any good. Boston fans are bigger bandwaggon hoppers than anything the Yankees ever dragged out of the sewer.
blanket statements are worthless. Just because there are some over zealous Boston fans here, doesn't mean we all are. I remember the Celtic years with Derek Strong, Dino Radja, the death of Lewis. Patriots years with Scott Secules and Missin Sissin, I remember when most Patriots games were not even on TV. I watched the Bruins lose to the Habs over and over until the early 90's, and since Neely retired a decade of tight fisted ownership and mediocrity, then a complete meltdown after the strike and trading Thornton 2-3 complete disaster seasons. I have watched the Sox play 2nd fiddle most of my life before this run. I am enjoying the recent success immensely, even more so because I went though everything beforehand.
