After many seasons on GLB I like the VAs in the following order: but a typical noob mistake is to up one to 15 before moving on to another, that's not necessary the case.

JTS - a must, get it up to 7 and move on, and come back to it later.

Technique Man - Evasive DEs must have, get it up to 10 and move on and come back to it later

Streaky - it is a minor risk as you may go on "bad streak", however, maxing it up to 15 increases the chance of good game to 80/20, an excellent ratio, and +5% on attributes is HUGE.

Bull Rusher - it increases your break block roll against all plays, and it stacks with your break block roll % bonus.

Eventually you want to max up all 4 of them to 15.

These 4 should keep you busy up to lvl 60s

And DT's?

Oh my goodness, can you read? My point has always been check your 3rd and 4th down situations. For most people on good teams that's NOT a lot and Passrusher is a waste. But I guess once in awhile a crap team like yours, which the defense doesn't seem to get off the field, will get a lot of 3rd and 4th down situations.

What deflection? You are such an idiot. My point has always been it's ridiculous to waste 15 VAs on something that happens not so often in the game, I never imagine a situation like yours that the D sucks so bad it can't stop people and thus resulting in a lot of 3rd and 4th downs

You do realize that every possession the opposing team has is going to require a 3rd down attempt no matter what. You're delusional if you expect every defense to get a turnover before they get to 3rd down/4th. We're still a low level team for AAA Canada. We lack stamina/confidence... which kills us in the 4th quarter and sometimes the last half of the 3rd quarter.

Attacking my team isn't going to prove your point. We all know you're full of shit.

I think he was talking about successfully getting a 1st down in the 1st or 2nd down again...

Perhaps, but that is simply not the case regarding my team.
20 instances of 3rd/4th down attempts isn't giving up too many 1st downs from 1st/2nd down attempts..

1 game in 4 and 5 games per season he'll nerf. Quite a dilemma. Hard not to see the glass half empty.

Statistically, it's possible to go through an entire season with your player on the HOT streak and never go on cold one. 80/20 is percentage for every single game, not guarantee to have 4 good games and 1 bad game.

Now, of course there's the minor chance that you go on a few bad games in a row, but the chance for that is less than 4%

1. Technique Man
2. JTS
3. Bullrusher
4. Pass Rusher (always good to have at least 2-3 here before maxing out other skills)

I would say streaky is probably the best VA for anyone on the D-line once you are able to go straight from 0 ->15

What if your 80% chance fired and you win?

Ideally I would want everyone on a high level team to have 15 streaky.

A D-linemen going off doesn't mean you win.

To me streaky is definitely worth it. You can offset the penalty a bit by choosing something like Quick, Workout Warrior, or Track Star.

If every player on the D-Line invests in streaky, then chances are most of them are going to be playing with +5% to all attributes, which is a noticeable difference. I've seen plenty of good D-linemen who choose it.
