Automatic
Short kicks are no problem for this player. He's almost automatic. The Automatic skill increases accuracy when kicking short kicks.

This skill is important for making short field goals and extra points. At very high levels, accuracy becomes nearly 100%.

Additional Levels:
Increases the distance considered to be a short kick, and increases the accuracy gain.


What good is this? It's not like you're ever going to kick a FG, or an extra point with your punter, except maybe in a 255-0 game.

what about Monster Hit or something? completely go away from the kicking/punting, and maybe use something to cause fumbles?

If you're making a boomer and plan to take STR to 70+ then sure... go for it... but if you aren't the chance of doing anything other than knocking the returners morale down a touch or two is very unlikely, and you aren't too likely to tackle the returner in a game more than once meaning you won't be able to stack morale hits often enough to cause any real damage... plus you're not gonna be on power tackling settings, and lets face it... Putting Points in monster hit will give you no returns unless your STR is high... and even then you aren't too likely to force very many fumbles...

That's why I took Wrap-Up Tackling.

I took closing speed for my punters, just to get in the way of possible returners, so somone of my team might catch them from behind, while the returner avoids me (and probably laughs, while doing it). I donīt know if it was a good choice, but I just don`t see any sense in any other Bonus-SAs.

How about Aura of Int?

First step could be decent for a kicker, but only at those super high levels when your kicking is 100+ nat, your Confidence is around 90 nat, and your vision is around 75-80ish, and you're looking for somewhere to put points.

Might end up working like a big boot.

Went with Aura of INT. Seemed like the only one that was potentially useful.

I wouldn't bother putting points into it. I'd spend points on Automatic before I put SP into Aura.
