My ROLB is obviously a blitzer, not sure what to apply for him. Thoughts?

First Step
Blitz
Disguise Blitz
Head of Steam

Same question. Obviously the last two are the big question marks.

i just created a ROLB with my "free player" and am going with disquise blitz on him. its a big risk on a current player since no ones seen how well it works and you cant reset the attribute, but since i get a freebie ill try it out.

I've got a MLB and I'm thinking of taking SV. Anyone want to convince me otherwise?

Edit: Hard Hitter archetype.

No I just done it then traded in my old make tackle pieces and rolled a +3AGI +1 SV piece which is fully upgraded. Hard Hitter Archtype also.

Sweet.

The only other SA that sort of looks interesting is Gang Tackler (since the MLB is often near other defenders) but I'm still thinking I'll go SV.

i like gang tackle as well for an mlb. really help shut down power backs inbetween the tackles

I'm pumped about the disguise blitz SA. It sounds awesome for a rolb. Who knows how it will look, but sounds cool.

Strong Base for a Hard Hitter MLB? I'm thinking it might be more useful than SV, which is more of an OLB thing. It's hard enough for players to break blocks in the first place.

That's what I put on my blitzing LB. I like TV, but I haven't watched a LB with it in game film, yet.

I'm going with blitzer and first step. Moving some agility equip to speed. Should be around 114 speed and 82 agility. It was 104 speed and 86 agility last season. I'll let you know how it goes.

Don't do that, since from what I gather, it only works well if you're rushing the passer and stronger than your opponent. Neither is very likely to happen as a MLB.

no Head Hunter for hard hitting MLB?
"The Headhunter ability gives a bonus to causing fumbles, big hits, and monster hits when this player is traveling at or near full speed.

This skill works best for secondary players who can fly in and make the big hit.

Additional Levels:
Increases bonus to causing fumbles, big hits, and monster hits."

id only get this if you make a lot of special teams tackles as its written to apply to those situations.

yeah I don't think the LB's are running at FULL speed too often. A lot of times the ball carrier runs into you. Safteties run full speed quite often to get to the play.
