Honestly, I would say that the season 3 opener with Reykjavik v Rohrheim has to be my 2nd favorite game yet, right behind the Championship game.

Even more powerful than the Rohrheim/Reykjavik rivalry has to be the rivalry between Heywood Jablowme and Numbnuts Ballbender.

Those two went straight up head to head, and if you EVER want to compare the two kickers, you really have to look at this game. It was a definitely a battle, and the placekickers were the captains.

That game is definitely a classic.

Just looking at the scoring summary, you can tell how amazing the game was.

They even had the same amount of attempts.

I really wonder what else Dust will have to do to be considered a top kicker in some peoples eyes. I mean 4/4 with a 58 yarder in there isn't half bad for a level 15 ...

I would actually throw newcomer to the league Steve Caesar of the MA Trolls in that mix as well. 5/5 with 3 from 50+.

Seems to be a lot of unrest from some on the global forums re: the frequency that place kickers are successfully booting 50+ yard field goals.

I don't know Manstag and Dust that well as they play in the Alpha, but in the Zeta I really like Ballbender.I think a good kicker is a guy that can contribute to a teams' offense, and a guy that offense can rely on (knowing that when they don't convert on 3rd there's a guy that will make the kick). Numbnuts does just that. He's really good, I think he's the best in the Zeta.
I miss way to many PAT's and I still don't understand why

Yea, I'm sure that kicking will be adjusted at some point pretty soon.

I have to agree the Aggie and Stampede game had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Until next: Cup you keep, luck you have

Thanks man. Gianni is definitely solid as a rock. I don't understand the missed PAT thing either. Numbnuts had not missed a single PAT until late last season, then he missed two and one more in the postseason. Very frustrating to be knocking down 50 yarders and missing PATs...LOL.

Looks like we are going to have another competitive year for stats at the K position.

Right now all I'm thinking about is winning the Roughnecks that championship. We came relatively close last season (losing out to the eventual champion) and you know what they say: what hurts most is that you came so close...
So stats are basicaly the last thing on my mind right now

I don't even have an opinion about who the best kicker in the league is... I'm just amazed at how suspenseful the battle was between Numbnuts Ballbender and Heywood Jablowme. They have similar names too (I think). Seriously, that game was all THEM.

LOL, that was crazy...

And we really did get lucky with Heywood missing his attempt in OT from 30.5 yards.
