Good pick with s7...Montpelier has me scared to death in the 2nd round. Fakie has been beating up on gold teams all season, yet was 4th place in s7 west. Having coached against all of the gold teams in the west twice, I honestly believe that s7 west has 3 teams (FT, Montpelier, Crib), and maybe 5 (I'm curious to see what Charleston & Rome bring in the playoffs), that are all better than the 7th & 8th seeded teams (Boston & Andromeda). And this doesn't count all of the great silver teams in other leagues like Maine, San Antonio, etc.

I hate to tell you but Boston and the Strain are still pretty damn good teams.

it really has to do with where you get placed in silver...we got placed in silver 7, but on the East side, where we gave up 30 points all season, and routinely put up 90+ points...I think we're a good team, but crazy things can go on in the playoffs, and teams can make a run into gold, and since we had one good game last year before the championship, I wasnt even sure how good we were...there's some teams who get the breaks we got and and go one and done in gold...there are some pretty damn good teams in silver though, and I think next's years gold league may be one of the strongest top to bottom if things play out in the silver playoffs

No Handz Down love? Or THE U! love?

As for my opinion:

Handz Down: 2nd seed, 15-1, with only a loss to Cascade. I think it'll be us and Cascade in the CC and West-Side/Dirty in the West CC. I think Cascade is the best team in S4, with 2 wins over current-Gold teams. However, the west has more talent spread out, so like kwerada said, it'll be a slugfest/toss-up.

THE U!: Well as DC, I've got to say we've got a great shot at winning it all. At 16-0, and #1 seed, we've got two pushover games into the CC. 99% chance we face Nightmare Crossroads, which is going to be good as we beat them 20-0 earlier in the season. On the other side, we've got ChiT, CEP, and NOLA. In my opinion, I've got ChiT and THE U! in the S2 finals.

That's true, ChiT hasn't spent any SPs until now.

I agree, they are pretty good teams. Boston is ok. Their defensive scheme early in the season was really bad, but they've improved upon that. They've improved throughout the season, so that's always a good sign. I think they're still learning and that they'll be a team to reckon with in a season or two. Andromeda has great players, average defensive AI, and HORRIBLE offensive AI. They only called a couple plays (and not even good ones) out of any given formation, and haven't changed it pretty much all season. With just a little bit of scouting, an average team can shut them down. Hopefully they'll kick it up a notch in the playoffs. I'm only saying this because I know Middawg pretty well and I know he can take it (and this isn't anything I haven't already told him in a PM)

And I'll give the U! some love. They were 1 of only 3 or 4 silver teams to hold their opponents to NEGATIVE yards rushing this season. That takes a good DAI and diligent scouting to do that. I'll admit I don't know anything about no handz down.

Man everybody's hatin on the Mobsters

2 of the 3 games we've lost we didn't even try to win (you could even say we tried to lose against West Side). The teams were already boosted so they had level 8 EQ and we didn't so it was gonna be tough for us to win even with a superior gameplan.

Our 3rd loss against San Antonio we weren't running a makeshift AI made by jxgator right before the game.

I think you'll make it to the conference finals, but Maine or WTMPW are both just so good. You have a great team tho.

I know this isnt the correct forum, but Im asking anyway. If all player 1-80 days old get a 100% flex refund, does anyone know for sure if that does or doesnt include boosting?
