Plenty of ways to skin a cat, but AGI > STR is still a solid build for run stuffers. I have a DT in APL with 99 STR / 115 AGI that rarely gets pancaked... no more than 5-6 times this season. His numbers aren't all that, but 30 tackles for a backup DT isn't too shabby. Though maybe that strength is higher than you'd expect for an 'agility' DL. He stronger and slower than my old season 2 DT, but as you note the OL builds have improved since then.

I feel that strong base is a great SA. I have 7 in it from CEQ and AEQ... Since I got it to 7 I've noticed my DE having more success at pushing blockers back that he doesn't pancake... to the point where he gets hurries with blockers still in front of him.
I assume this is due to the increase in Strong Base... but there is no way to know for certain... but I feel confident about this and I'm just going to roll off of this hunch and see what happens.

Notice how he just pushes the RG back almost as if he's not there.

He doesn't see much run action yet, when he does see runners his way he's pretty able to disengage from the block... I'm hoping that as he matures and as I finish up Agility and move on to Speed he'll start to produce more and more based off an earlier STR build I made, in that build I took STR to 68, than TKL to 60, then SPD to 62 before retiring him and he pretty much mauled until the other builds surpassed him... so I'm just trying to make a more far-sighted version of my last build.

Strong base and Shed Block, in conjunction with the VA's pocket crusher and Heavyweight.

Match that up with high strength, and you'll be shoving blockers aside all day.

Looks like we have a similar view on the situation. Although... I was working speed before agility, until the archetype announcement, so I lost out on some efficiency.

My end build projections...

135 strength, 88 agility, 81 speed, 64 vision, 53 tackling, 50 stamina, 50 confidence, 40 jumping, 10 break thru (custom), 8+ shed block (AEQ), 5-9-10-1-1 containment tree, +25% break block chance (AEQ), 15 bull rusher, 15 pocket crusher, 15 heavy weight and 15 pass rusher.

What's with all of the PD's? How did you manage that?
And taking SPD up first before AGI lets you get more from your player now as he can get to the play fast enough after mauling his blocker. Good luck man. We'll see who's dot wins the Dotball lottery and gets the most favorable rolls.

Currently he's slow as hell, but I'm going to be upping his agility and speed soon. Basically he is at 76 strength at lvl 13. At 15 I'm going to add one more point (the last of the 5 cap) to make it 78.

Since you start out training strength/tackling I wonder if you are better off taking tackling to the cap before speed. After agility though of course.

This is my first DE, by the way so I don't really know anything. Kind of an experiment.

should of taken it to the 7th cap

solid advice for a run stuffer but can be modified for any build type.

I like my guy a little more, but Octowned is always full of good stuff.

And unlike y'all, I'm not afraid to show mah buildZ.

Our builds are VERY close. You have about 8 more agility and a few more speed...and more tackling (but I'll get close to that when I reach your level). I have went a different route with SAs but I love FS for mine too

The PDs were from screen plays mostly.

As for the speed thing, I planned to have more speed than agility originally, but then archetypes threw a wrench in my plans... run stuffer changed speed to a minor, thus I started to work agility for the ALGs, once I found out about the changes. So I lost some build efficiency, but it shouldn't be too much of a hit.
