Carolina Guard. Lost to Short Bus in the First Pee Wee Tournament finials. Three Season later the Owner gave up on the team and it went CPU.

MMD has been a top 10 since before the restructure, FG are good, but MMD has been as good or better for longer.

Agreed. Even though they're Silver, they've been there since restructure and the worst season I've ever seen from them was 13-3. They were 15-1, and 16-0 the last 2 seasons, losing in the CC both times. They're a wicked team to play.

MD is a real team, a team consists of more agents on the team than an owner owning over half if not more players on the team. FG has mostly been all or close to all of JKids players so they are not really a team. The title says "Team"
Most one man shows with a little knowledge can do very well. All you have to do is set your tactics up knowing they are all in sync and keep them trained and put descent AIs. I think a really great team is a team that can take 30 or more agents in one season and make it work. That is saying something.

When you only own a few players on your team is gets a lot more difficult, you have to watch for players with tactics not set in the replays, then you have to pm those players and beg them to change them, then when you want to use Bonus tokens you have to go through each player each day and see who didnt do them, I had 22 the first time I had to pm. The next time I had 8 and I still have a few who refuse to do them. There is a huge disadvantage to only owning a couple of players. Plus you get players who go inactive for whatever reasons (I have a TE MIA) and also players who decide to build like the team wants and then go their own way even though it hurts the team.

Besides that, I think that having a lot of agents on your team is just more fun . There's nothing like being together with the same group of guys for 4-5 seasons and then occassionally introducing a new guy into the group. Some of the people that have made players for me (including jkid) are now many of my best friends on this sight and I wouldn't trade that for the ability for me to make ALL players and not have to deal with people setting tactics and what not.

FG's last team forum post was on January 20. The last time we were a real team was season 10 (I had 5 guys), and maybe season 11, where I had 26 guys. However, we haven't been a team since we got into gold, which I'm ok with because I deal with two other teams where I don't have the luxury of owning almost every player.

Bah. I've tried the whole 'Team' thing and I it sucks. You have to recruit, nag, and plead. The Pee Wee community is enough like a team that I don't need to have a whole bunch of people try and put together a competitive outfit. Hell, I have enough trouble trying to get my own dots to work like I think they should... could you imagine me trying to coach a team where I can't quickly manage the whole thing?

I have dots on enough teams at higher levels that I just don't have the patience to be involved in that many games. I built dots for a few Pee Wee teams last season, but I found that it was difficult to keep involved in all of the teams that I had dots on.

If I could own a second Pee Wee team I would run it like a team, but I'm just trying to stay competitive with the one that I've got.
