Check out Oakland making a game of it against the Bandits! Some obvious improvement on that team for sure. Great game between Cary and Riverside, too.

I didn't see any real upsets for week 1, surprisingly.

Edit: And yea, that's some pretty freakin' amazing game predicting, too!

Haha, yea I know my western conference

I'm a little disappointed that Scranton didnt show up against the outlaws, but i guess that lvl 16 barrier was bigger than I imagined.

Props to Riverside for a tough game.

Nolan is getting it pretty rough from his teammates in the locker room right now.

And they outgained us on the ground and through the air... Thankfully, we were a little better at putting it in the endzone...

Still, a win is a win.

Wow. Damn good job. Im impressed with the score predictions as well. I also agree with your comment about Ho Playbook. They look like a team to look out for, but then again we dont take any team to lightly.

Welcome Everyone to this evenings episode of SportsCenter.

We had a lot of blowouts this week, a large number of them due to uneven matchups but a few that were quite unexpected. Lets start by taking a look at the western conference games.

Omaha Shockers def Houston Panthers 30-0

This game wasnt much of a Shock (Haha, okay, I wont do it again). The Shockers toppled the Panthers with a strong running game. Upthe Gut lead the way with close to 100 yards and two touchdowns. The Omaha defense shut down the Panther running game holding them to just 17 yards and stuffed them through the air allowing only 50% completed passes. It was all Omaha in Houston tonight.

Star Performers:
Offense:
Upthe Gut - 19 Rushes for 98.5 yards, 1 Reception for 6 yards, 2 TD
Defense:
Toki Senegal - 5 Tackles, 2 Forced Fumbles, 1 Int

Highlights:
Omaha Forced Fumble on a Kick Return

Long Run by the Omaha HB

Cary Carpetbaggers def Riverside Renegades 23-20

The Baggers squeeze by the Renegades in Bagger Field despite a -3 turnover margin. Cary's Dline was the story of the evening, pressuring Riversides QB with a total of 8 Hurries (1 by LB Smarty Smart). Offensively, Alex Wayland led a strong passing attack with 240 yards through the air and 1 TD.

Star Performers:
Offense:
Alex Wayland - 25 Completions out of 40 Attempts for 240 yards, 1 TD, 1 Int
Defense:
Nik Wayland - 2 Tackles, 5 Hurries

Highlights:
Wayland to Fukudome to give Cary a strong lead going into the 4th

Critical Stop by Thor Enforcer to force the FG after a hard-fought Riverside drive. (Missed)

Nik with a Hurry to force the 4th down with 1:50 remaining.

Houston Outlaws def Scranton Tunas 21-0

Scranton simply did not show up in Houston tonight. Their offense combined for a total of 124 yards in a disappointing blow out against the Outlaws. Houston forced 5 turnovers to seal the Tunas' fate. Jake Newton was pushed around in the pocket, hurried 7 times, while Smash Taylor failed to produce after being tackled 7 times for a loss. Is this a sign that the level 16 barrier be a huge problem for the lower level teams or was Scranton simply off their gameplan?

Star Performers:
Offense:
Billy Blaze - 7 Receptions for 103.5 yards, 1 TD
Defense:
Brock Robinson - 7 Tackles, 1 Forced Fumbles, 3 Int

Highlights:
This pick on Scranton's first play basically set the mood of the night
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=5581766
An interception with the Outlaws in the red zone was the only spark of life from Scranton
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=5581906
Billy's long TD put the game out of reach
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=5585446

South Texas Thunder def Elite Sea Team 23-10

This game was as far out of reach for the Sea Team as the score suggests. They only made it into the Red Zone one time all night, and the team struggled with poor field position all evening. Not a good sign for a team that thrives on a strong passing offense. Djie Up! wasnt slowed down by the Sea Team's stupor, going for 70 yards and a touchdown, but the rest of the Sea Team didnt pull through. The Thunder looks to be a solid team. Nothing in South Texas stood out but the team played really good football. However, those CPU backups are going to become more and more of a liability for the Thunder as the season goes on.

Star Performers:
Offense:
Djie Up! - 8 Receptions for 69 yards, 1 TD
Defense:
Pik Tejas - 4 Tackles, 2 Hurries, 1 Forced Fumble, 1 Fumble Recovery

Highlights:
An early pick by the Sea Team, but they failed to capitalize
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=5587632
A costly turnover with 1 minute left in the half led directly to a South Texas Score
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=5590348
Special Teams turnovers also seriously hurt the Sea Team, this one leading to another Thunder TD
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=5590914

Kansas City Wiz def TEAM Chuck Norris 40-3

There really isnt much to say here... Kansas had an impressive performance, even without last year's star Snazzy Sniznazzy (where did he go?). Granted it was against a team that still hasnt pulled itself together. New WR Lj Gill had a strong performance to start his career with the Wiz. Even more impressive was KC's Running game, which averaged 4.6 yards per carry on the ground. I'm a little disappointed that Kansas allowed a Field Goal, but 3 fumbles certainly is a more concerning issue. As for TEAM Chuck Norris, we can only hope they pull it together.

Star Performances:
Offense:
Lj Gill - 4 Receptions for 127 yards, 2 TD
Defense:
Jordan Peterson - 4 Tackles with 1 for Loss, 2 Passes Defended, 1 Int

Highlights:
KC's Starting HB capped off an opening drive with a TD

KC's strong passing game and new Receiver Lj Gills showing his stuff

Honolulu Warriors def Los Angeles Sweetness 67-0

Really who didnt expect this outcome? Level wise the Warriors have the strongest team in the conference. Expect this to happen a lot this season. The Warriors, led by last year's defensive sensation Alika Smith, held the Sweetness to negative 17 yards on the ground and only 89 yards in the air. Meanwhile the Warriors offense, lead by that frightening trio of HBs, went for 585 yards. An area of concern was the Warrior's inability to get into the endzone early in the game. With so many high level players they need to be sure to dominate early instead of late...

Star Performers:
Offense:
Honolulu's Oline - 92 Pancakes, 1 Hurry Allowed, 2 Tackles for Loss Allowed
Defense:
Alika Smith - 8 Tackles, 7 Hurries, 5 Sacks, 1 Int

Highlights:
The Warriors lit em up early and often
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=5581795
Long TDs were the story of the night in Honolulu

Hollywood Stars def BC Lions 24-3

The Lions still havent fixed the problems that plagued their team all of last season. I'm not sure where they need to improve. The Stars are back in form, but they are going to need to do better than 24 points against a lower leveled defense to compete with the powerhouses in the west. A 57% completion percentage by their starting QB is also a concern. That said, the Stars offense definitely was impressive, going for a balanced 200 yard through the air and 175 on the ground. Defensively, a +2 turnover margin definitely helped things out.

Star Performers:
Offense:
Steve Reloaded - 15 Completions out of 26 Attempts for 167 yards, 3 TD, 0 Int
Defense:
Jenk Jenkins - 4 Tackles, 3 Forced Fumbles

Highlights:
An opening drive field goal was the only sign of life from the Lions all night
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=5587289
It was all stars after that
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=5588643

El Paso Bandits def Oakland Terror 17-13

Despite an impressive 307.5 yards of offense and a +2 turnover differential, the Terror failed to pull out the win. Unfortunately, the Terror’s offensive yards didn’t come when it truly mattered, and they failed to get into the end zone. A missed field goal early in the game also made it much more difficult for them to rally back. No matter why the Terror lost, this game gives us good reason to believe the Terror wont be the same pushovers they were last season.

Star Performer:
Offense:
Benny Barony – 31 Completions out of 59 Attempts for 248 yards, 1 TD, 1 Int
Defense:
Flap Jack – 8 Tackles with 3 for Loss, 1 Sack, 1 Hurry, 1 Pass Defended

Highlights:
An early Bandit TD came from some hard won field position
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=5587372
A Terror Turnover on a potential scoring drive
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=5587721
Impressive run by Bandit HB O’Boogie that lead to a TD to close the first half
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=5588843
A forced fumble to set up the Terror score that put them back in the game.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=5591213
Crucial stop by the Bandits. They hold on to win.

Awesome stuff, thank you icant!

Honolulu and Hollywood both came out strong...no surprise there!

To answer your question, Snazzy moved to Europe in a move that brought first game standout WR Lj Gill to the Wiz. Snazzy was joined by fellow Wiz players WR Malcom Killy and LB Rocky Kalmus in a 3 for 3 trade.

In all seriousness I'd told the team from the start that my guys would move out as we were able to bring in talent to replace them. I'm down to four guys on the Wiz and they'll stay until they fall over from old age.

I hope your joking and know him (Icantdrawanime) personally, otherwise your comment is not cool. He takes time out of his "life" to make the game more enjoyable for everyone. You should either respect that or leave your comment to yourself.
