I definately had the hardest time with yours. I had you getting a home playoff game at first, and then did some adjusting, and couldn't figure out where to place you. It came down to having a relatively thin roster, losing a game in the preseason, and not being a returning pro team.
I probably should have considered that when we played you two seasons ago there was only a 1 point differential.
Your team is higher than 10th, I already see that mistake, I'm just not sure where to place you.

Muskie said 2-6 are all tied for 2nd, which I completely agree... but anyone from 2-12 has a good shot at making playoffs here. Very thin line between them all.

Yeah messed up the roster count somehow, and I did drop you a few spots with last minute changes because of it.
I was right about the chemistry, and about the effective level, though... you and Arrowhead both have 73 effective level.

I originally had you at #2, but with a big preseason loss to the Silverbacks, who Puvirnituq beat handily, I had to drop you down a few spots. I probably should have you at 4 because your pro history makes you a strong candidate over Wildfire, and they're still just a little bit young. Irregardless, you're clearly near the top of the list, just behind arrowhead like the rest of us

This was probably a one of a kind deal. I didn't have to gameplan for our first game since we already scrimmaged the Yaksmen, and happened to find some extra time. I might be able to do one midseason, but it's going to be tough with the extra Addicts Tourney games.

We didn't set up a preseason defense but weren't running basic either. Yeah it is lolworthy, but still shows SOME indication of how teams compare.

Last season you won the first round by 3, then we won in the playoffs by 20.
This preseason you lost to the Silverbacks by 25, and we beat them by 46.
Yes I looked at the roster, and the chemistry, and took that into consideration, but when you're doing a LOLpreseason ranking, and it comes down to you and me for the #2 ranking, I felt like we deserved the preseason nod.
There's still 15 games left to play, and there's no telling where either team ends up. For all I know Puvi ends up 12th this season, and Cobden ends up #2, but all I had to go by was lolpreseason, and I think I did a damn good job

Next time, if you want a good preseason ranking, don't lose, and you won't have to complain.

Oh, I see. I was confusing Effective level with Avg Player Value which tells a slightly more precise story imo. Arrowhead's APV is 905.5 and Cobden's is 930.1. Godd job though on this and the interleague rankings thread. It's appreciated since this forum has been pretty dead since last season.
