I took it as a compliment.

Like MadCow said, I wasn't ragging on Winona at all. On the contrary, the most fun I've had in this game has come from some of the banter that flies back and forth concerning Winona. As far as I'm concerned, either by design or by accident, MadCow is a freakin' genius when it comes to getting the whole league involved. I tell ya'... Canada could use him. I've quit even looking at their forum. But SEAPL without Winona is like Victory Jones without his cutting edge witticisms (that was intended as a compliment VJ)!

Okay. I'm sorry if you took my post as a response to your post. I recognize the avatar and saw that you were associated with Ottawa. Other than that, we really don't have a history that I am aware of, good or bad.

It was directed at the users who just cannot quit Winona, because there are a few and it's really sad. Actually, the word pathetic is a better fit.

The core from Winona is still represented here in SEAPL. We're choosing to take another approach with our squad and let the Jam and Whores run their mouths and take the verbal abuse that goes with it.

But see.... that's where MadCow is the master. He never let's it get under his skin. Sometimes he'll get caught out but he bounces back like he's made of rubber. And there was always a ton of pride coming from Winona. Just saying. Every league needs the kind of banter that MadCow, VJ, David Stern, Phil Jackson, Boomy and the rest of these guys throw out. Trust me on this. I just went from SEAPL to the morgue when we moved the team to Canada. The guys from SEAPL were a bit intimidating at first, so I just read the first season with them, to try and figure them out. After that, I jumped in and now wish I had never left. As it turns out, it's not the competition that makes the game fun, it's the people you're playing with and against. At least with a guy like MadCow, you know where you stand. A guy might use 500 words of perfect logic on MC and his only reply would be "f@#k you" (which actually happened and made me laugh harder than I had done in 20 tears). But three more posts down the line and he's kicking the cow patties right back at 'cha.

Anyway... it's the combination of all of these "wits" in SEAPL and their constant pursuit of having a (relatively) good-hearted go at each other that has made this league the most interesting and funnest in the game. If I can get Arrowhead back one of these days, I'm going to. Until then, to all my friends who still reside here, good luck in the season and feel free to challenge Arrowhead anytime you feel like you have the cahonies! (How do you spell that?) You're the best!

Words of truth. Though, other forums tend to not like our SEA behaviour...........until after we left. (We had a super team of asshole agents)

Quinn, I wish Arrowhead was back here also. You have a great team. And it's always nice to have some fellow Chiefs fans around.

btw - Cojones - A vulgar Spanish word for testicles, meant to denote courage. Turns out I misspelled it on one of my player's name.

I remember that... it was fucking epic!
Someone trying to use logic with MC.
Oh god it was funny.
Almost as funny as VJ's constantly pathetic attacks on Winona.

Yeah, we didn't set SEAPL on fire but we definitely surprised people. I remember getting into it with g-bay-be in the forums before our first season and he was adamant that we wouldn't win more than 5 games. I regret not taking the avy bet. Hindsight is 20/20 though.

We're going to have a tough first season in pro. We have a lot of S5 and S6 players. We should be in much better shape next season. Here's to not getting demoted!
