There's some disagreement about whether they might happen this season. I'd tend to agree with Stobie more than Bort, but who knows.

Bort did mention he might try to slide a few in but I highly doubt that as I want these as refined and tested fully before we even think about adding them.
So unofficially I say Season 15 could be a launch date for them.
And from the announcements:

We are also working on some new plays with the help of the community. If we get some good ones built and tested, we will add them during the preseason/season as required. Check out Stobie's thread in the main GLB forum if you want to help out!

Sorry, I went through and reread the whole post (last time I had to skim), and I was a little harsh before. That quote about using plays in context is less likely to be misunderstood than it would be out of context. Still, you should reword it.
The plays probably won't happen this season, but they will probably happen by next season. So I guess you can just change your advice whenever the plays go in.

Show teams one thing with your HB all season, and then suddenly reveal that he's been training his catching and you are hitting him on deep routes with a QB that has been doing sneaks for the past five games.

I like to mix things up a little bit all season, but sometimes I'll try to set up an opponent by favoring one group of plays for a couple of games and then switching before the bigger game. On the other hand, when I'm scouting opponents I try to get a mix of recent games and close games, so that would tend to defeat people doing what I do. And generally speaking that's going to be true, you're probably going to be best prepared for people to do whatever it is you do. The real trick is being prepared for stuff you haven't thought of.
Oh, and, you're in gold and I'm not, so your advice is probably better than mine anyway.

Remember that this advice isn't intended for Gold or good Silver teams, their OC's should know everything I said more. It's for those who have never setup an offense before. They start simple and build on their own from there. This guide is to help them setup things up initially and then point them in the right direction.
