Hi merenoise, I think you pm'd me this link so I would respond. Im sorry you feel cheated in some way. Obviously not every agent/owner situation is going to work out and I have a feeling this was just one of those situations. I do the best I can to gameplan for games but obviously the Kai is my main priority. Typically I have ~3 teams to plan for and 1 to own. Winning championships with a farm team would be a sweet bonus but I really focus most my energy on the Kai. We are really focused on winning elite level success versus just winning minor league trophies.
The agents on Come Fiesta, and build plans were all a creation of Kayoh. My own personal philosophy is to have people build players how they want, I prefer variety/unique builds, as opposed to an assembly line of player builds. I have always been of the opinion that nobody should be telling others how to build, suggestion is ok, but in the end its their flex.
After we lost in this years playoffs both Skanker and I came to the conclusion that the team was not going in the right direction. We decided to part ways with Kayoh, along with a number of player builds & player activity/dedication that did not fit into our plans for the future. While I appreciate what Kayoh did to this point, philosophically we did not agree on many levels. Since his departure I have torn up all build plans, and we are starting the process of seeing what each agent actually wants.
Having said all that we decided to add some builds, players, and agents that are familiar with the Cobra Kai Network and really knows what it take to compete at the Pro & WL level. I think we probably turned over about ~20 players from last season.
Good luck to you.
