McNabb was finishing his college career when I was at SU, so it was a great time then! Now I just wait for Bball and lacrosse seasons and pray for the day that G Rob gets fired!!!!

similiar situation for me with wandstedt but..at least hes bringing in good players he just cant coach them.
though i think pitt has a good shot to go crazy this year. probably better odds in basketball than football though i got hope for both.

I hear ya Bubba. Always been a big fan of McNabb and Harrison as players. Awesome studs on the field. Syracuse as a program is in serious trouble. As for Pitt, how in the world can they not win 9/10 games a year with those recruits? Every year that is one team we don't want to face and yet we seem to always win it with ease.
I know one thing, WVU is going to be sick on offense this year. Luckily their defense should BLOW. USF/WVU on the last game of the season could very well decide that conference. No doubt WVU will be there, just up to Leavitt to make sure we don't blow a few games we should win (see last year's 3 game skid).

well in our defense, our first big time recruiting class was only sophmores and redshirt freshman last year. all the classes ahead of that were walt harris' and not very good, ranked pretty low. so id say from this year on if it don't start to show on the field then theres issues, but you cant blame a bunch of fresh/sophs for not dominating.
wvu is as scary as ever but they will miss that crazy fullback and i would think, miss richrod even more.

well first off pat white aint going nowhere, hes back at wvu
but what game did the backup qb lose for them the usf game? i know it wasnt the pitt game. i dont really remember how the usf one played out.
i think devine will break in half being the every down back, dude weighs about as much as my computer.

Look at USF last year and you'll see the entire offense was freshman and sophomores and Selvie was also a soph and those guys put up 9 wins. Pretty good considering the seniors on that team were recruited back when we were in Conference USA.
Should be a fun year. As for USF/WVU, the backup last year actually did better than Pat White. We shut down Pat both years. SHUT DOWN. USF has the speed to counter White and running a similar offense helps to. The game is in morgantown this year, just don't know if we can beat WVU three times in a row, twice in a row in morgantown. hard to beat anyone three times in a row, let alone a top ten team like WVU has been.

shaggy bevos are too busy making it rain at the club this season. Next season (when we aren't a rebuilding club) we'll be much more competitive.
