Look for last season's champ of Pee Wee Copper #1, Rome Praetorian to make some noise in S7. They made some changes last season that made them one of the toughest Defenses we faced last year (scrims included).

So which do you consider harder, a league with 2-3 A-level teams or a league with 4-6 B-level teams?
S1 has Maine Grenadiers, Who touched my peewee?, & Funk Druckers, all teams that did very well in the tourneys in S13 and even won one. They have a proven record against other top level Silver teams and even some Gold teams. They were unlucky enough to have the Whistle Pigs, probably the best Silver team in S13, in the same league.
S7 has Final Thought, Crib Midgets, & Montpellier Wildcats, all who are run by coaches who run or own Gold teams, or have done so. Thus these are very well run and coached teams that were unlucky enough to all be in the same conference.
To me, the proven record in S13 of S1 and the great coaching staff in S7 have to put them at the top or near the top of the toughest Silver leagues.
Not knocking S5 or other leagues down, but what did they do in S13 or what Gold level coaches do they have?
The Whistle Pigs thank you Gerr. Hellofa complement.
That was last season. We now have to prove our worthiness in Gold.

the top three teams in Silver 1 west could easily do 8-8 or better in Gold.
Copper 3 was the best and most competitive copper league of last year.

We'll never really know which is the toughest league, but Silver 5 was definitely a good one in S13. I ran the offense for the STARS, who were about the #4 team in the west conference in Silver 5 (probably about #7 overall). We made the elite 8 of the 128-team overall tourney, and we beat Funk in the AAT.
Of course, that's the AAT, and it was a very close game. My point is that there are a number of good teams in every conference. Silver 5 didn't have a clear elite team, but we had two different teams that were non-boost, non-CE that went 16-0 and 15-1 in the regular season, respectively. We also had several teams (San Antonio Saviours, Raccoon City STARS, a few others) that represented pretty well in the various tournaments.

Gotta give a shout out For #2, maybe not the elitist league but looking better this season then is past.
Fromer Gold Team Coastal Empire,The U(formerly Phlanx) ,Chicago Terminators,Gridiron Glory,Nightmare crossroads,up and coming Texas Cowboys.
I think this group is going to make some noise in some Tourney's and scrims this season.
P.s I may be Bias,lol.

braxx, grasshoppa your unwise to look past the old gators team in Silver 4. we were the only team to hold DDH from scoring a touchdown all season. I dont want to jinx us by saying to much aside from we are hoping for at least a western conference championship.
Silver 4 has quite a few teams that did real well in copper, will see how they fair.

I'm not sure how they'll do next season, but I'll strongly disagree that they would have all easily gone 8-8.

Well Gold is tuff, I wasn't trying to take anything away from anyone, but those three teams would do "well" in Gold, esp now that there are what 5 cpu run teams there?

Hmmm
We were close to 8-8 in Gold S13 so I wanted to chime in.
As you can see we beat some Teams from Silver 1 last season. (I know you are talking about the upcoming season
)Yes they played us well. We also beat some Silver Teams that got promoted to Gold. This season yeah they maybe could go 8-8 in Gold no one really knows yet. Last Season I think they could of easily been demoted though.
Funny thing is people that have not played Gold consistently, do not realize you have to change your AI's on both sides of the ball. Every game to be successful. Or @ the very least change %'s of the designed plays. Coordinators will ZAP your ass in Gold if you do not make changes or if you don't have 4-10 inputs for every option. They will key in on your habits and you might be lucky to break 100 total yards.
Just sayin. We have not had a losing season in Gold, but to grab an 8-8 mark is no gimmie been there done that often.
3 seasons in Gold and I need a break from all the analyzing you have to commit to doing in Gold.
