I say the tourny guy chooses which silver teams get the invite out of the teams who have entered for the top 8. I feel the gold teams and even the silver teams want the best competition as possible. Final thought can beat out just about every silver team that has enlisted so far.

These are my thoughts as well. I want Final Thought in the challenge, as they are a top-notch Silver team. If other strong, established teams such as Who touched my peewee? (who has beat Gold teams in S12) and the West Side Longhorns (a perennial SL1 contender) decided to show interest, I would be quick to change some teams up because I know they would provide quality competition.

If it's not to late, Atlantic City Surf will join. The concept for this tourney really sounds interesting. It's different, to be sure.

Not late at all. All I need is 1 more Gold team and I'll start setting up the matchups.

Or take the best Silver team and put them with the Gold side. Probably at least one Silver team in there that was gold or is at or near gold level.

I agree that it would be better if it is Silver vs Gold, but are we to say there won't be a tourney if we can't get one more gold team? I was just throwing it out as a last course of action.

Well here is an idea..............Of course not that it will work as advertised 100%

I think All the promoted Silver Teams to Gold. Should be a part of this Tourney as initiation to Gold. (Represent Gold) To challenge the Silver Teams. Then you take the Championship losers of each league, if they are still around as first contenders and mix up the brackets, so teams play a team other than they played in the prior seasons championship game.

So therefore you would have no less than 8 Gold Teams every season and in some cases more. Then just get the best remaining Silver Teams.
