I have never rolled a SDC piece. I have never rolled a SV, SDC, or CD piece with anything more useful than +1 Vision attached.

Actually yeah, that's what I have now 
but it's still incredibly frustrating that I can't get an SDC or SV piece and I've tried like at least two dozen times now. What exactly are the odds supposed to be at level 27 anyway >_>

I finally got a SDC piece today no skill points on it just the SA only I have no BT's to upgrade it though since I have been rolling so long for it but I can at least start saving for upgrades now.

with the new AEQ rolling feature, I'd actually save BTs (save 16 every 8 levels) and start rolling when you are pretty much done with training attributes and is starting to working on SAs.
I'd roll around Lv. 55 or so (close to the next upgrade). You get 6 items / roll, and better chance @ +3 useful attribute and +SDC/SV.
Of course, that's just me.

rolling as a level 52 and it had nothing attached to it, just the SA, whatever, beggars can't be choosers
even more awesome, that CB also wants a SV piece now. there was a SV piece (also with nothing attached) in the same shopping trip as the SDC. i'm quite sure now bort is just fucking with me

This will likely be my new method too. I used to roll at level 17, but it looks like they aren't as good down there now, and with the better higher level AEQ and more chances, I'll be rolling around level 56.
