Although the winner will be the Coordinators who guess right

Yep. Big guessing game from what I'm seeing. To tag or not to tag. That is the question.

If we put QB Brown's passing equipment on and throw the ball like the last match-up......and put HB Ricky Watters out there on passing plays as well, we will either score 100 or 0 on offense.

See the Mekong/Drinkin game for the dangers of tagging.

Of course, you can actually run a somewhat balance defense (with one or two spots targeted) and be OK either way.

Not everyone does the "I will sell my soul to stop this one thing and be screwed if they change" defenses that SI does

what fun is that? Go big or go home!

Seriously though, you have to have the better squad to do the "let's just play conservative" approach. When you are underleveled and just play conservatively, it just limits how many points you lose by (maybe 10-13 instead of 24-30). I'm not sure if I have ever been part of a team that was the favorite/higher leveled team. Thus, that is why I've always taken some big chances and sometimes they have paid off. When you guess wrong against a superior leveled or deeper team like Marblehead or Halifax/Drygerian, then bad things happen. Haha.

I don't think Mekong is underleveled against anyone in SEAPL though, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. Probably nothing drastic. Or am I just setting them up by saying that?

Throw the curveball especially if they can't hit it.

GG Garudas. 2 big fumbles by our return man with 70+ strength and 75 carrying did us in early.

Ya, the Garudas have a lot of builds that specialize in ST FF tbh--part of the charm.

Good season for Mekong, Krungthep off to the WL.

Good win for Krungthep. In all fairness, Mekong did a nice job in gameplanning - but in the end the big plays did them in.

If that's all he has, then I am not surprised at all.

GG, was a bit one-sided though....

GG to Ibflounder and the Mekong Delta Force. Congratulations on a fantastic season - for a team that nearly missed the postseason you guys really turned in a fantastic run - beating the PDP the #1 seed, and a very strong Manila Warlords team and going all the way to the Naga Final. You outplayed us from quarters 2 to 4, but after a terrible start to the game it was going to be a difficult lead to overcome.

My regards to your excellent Coordinator and recruiter, SI. Despite a defeat on the scoreboard, Jessica Biel led the game with 22 pancakes, and that is something he can be proud of... nobody can take that away!

Fool you deserve to move on you represent nothing but class. Both teams in the finals represent the best SE Asia has to offer. Good luck in the WL Both teams have great coordinators in Joe Rice and Victory Jones so both will fare well in the WL..

Congrats fool and the Garudas. PDM has always thought of you as a top owner and team with class. Gonna miss your presence in SEAPL but we'll look to catch up to you again. Hopefully it won't take us 6-7 seasons this time.
