I meant that a CB with lots of strength and big hit, growl, or aura of int is basically building an LB and playing him at CB. A really strong corner might be good in the NFL, but in GLB you've basically built an LB or a Safety. You made a comparison to the NFL as proof that strength CBs work. Those comparisons don't work though because this isn't the NFL.

Imo it could work if you sacrifice some vision to raise tackling.
But further than that, not really.

Because speed and agility are indispensable and jumping helps in the tackle roll.

The best CB I ever saw had over 68 Strength and over 61 Tackling. He was pretty sick in both coverage and run support.

So it's very doable. Ignore the SAs you mentioned, though.

His Season 10 stats in a Pro league are insane. And over half of those tackles came from run support/ST.

Wish I knew.

He was very active on our team (hell, he even changed his username to include "Cuda") and in our PF. Then, one day, he left a post basically saying "Bye", and that was it.

note: that CB has 23 catching, yet he still has more picks then my other 2 CB's combined and they both have catching to 48. though he may not have any of the SA's you speak of, he is a monster none-the-less in the run game, makes tackles and gets rev-cakes/breaks wr blocks very easily. he also gets to jackhammer the wr's from time to time when not just getting a regular Pd

My relatively strong CB has done decently the past couple years, especially after a couple years in a reserve/ST role.
