I'd agree. Against both the Avengers and Pugs (who I DC for), we've given up a whopping negative 69.5 yards on 250 attempts, with 181 tackles for loss. Might want to ditch those outside runs if you do advance to Gold.

would not have 1/10th of those Td's in Pro

I would not recommend doing this on any competitive teams. It's very tough to break tackles with QB

This. Strength isn't valuable for QBs in the rushing game. In the passing game it is, but Bort toned it down so that you can't build QBs with 70+ strength and 20 speed and be very dominant. Although, with the way the game is, might as well jack it up cause we need 1 broken tackle to get us a score a game.

Strength on QBs was nerfed only in it's relation to breaking tackles and fumble avoidance. The problem was people were pumping strength to get that cannon arm and gaining the ability to run like a powerback as a extra bonus. They were trying ot build a Rothlisberger and getting a Jerome Bettis in the same player.

I think it would take a considerable amount of carrying in addition to strength to get the same power running capabilities as an HB can with just Strength.

Anyone ever try a pure carrying QB? Might they be a better tackle breaker than a strength based QB?

We have one and he is doing just fine. This season the Cows decided to run 2 hybrid scrambling/passing QBs. One power based, one speed/agility based.

The leader has 8 of his TD's against a gutted team though, and not everyone faced the Soul Assassins when they were gutted since they were legit the first half of the season.
