I definitely think we have some leverage if we act as a group, and if we considered the no boosting, no CEQ, no day 31, etc. how about we also assign EVERY player in Gold as lolGM's for EVERY team?

We lobbied for tiering and we got it, so I think on some level Bort does realise we are something of a Golden Goose with our high flex turnover. But in case he doesn't, the best way to enforce that point is for everyone to suddenly spend the bare minimum flex.

I would expect it is an easy thing to do as teams in Gold, Silver, even Copper would likely welcome not having to fork over an extra $8 bucks per player per season. 1200 flex for 1 CEQ (includes ability tree after lvl 8) and 1500 for 3 boosts means 2700 flex each. That's a booster pack at $25 of which you end the season with 70% of that. Doing multiple players can get expensive.

I would impose the no boost/custom strike on Short Bus until something changes. I can show you games where against good competition we were completing passes at a high efficiency. Now its a freaking joke. 80 attempts and complete 10 if your lucky and they are mostly short passes to the HBs and Fbs/
Season 7 Screens were solid
Season 8 Passing was successful around level 8
Season 9 passing (We never passed so I don't know)
Season 10 passing was terrific with strength Wrs that had catching and strength even
Season 11 was terrible
Season 12 non existant

No boosting or Custom would work. Thats 900 flex for a lineman, 1200 for a defender and 1500 for a glamour position that would be sitting in peoples accounts unspent.

are you saying no boosting and custom will work?

I'm guessing yes, since you have to be lv1 by rollover to next season and the supposed rules would make you wait until day 41.

Pugs don't boost anyways

If you re-read the post that you linked from Bort, you will see that it will only be implemented for level 10 and above. So, PeeWee Leagues players would still be able to boost at any time. That means the boycott you guys are talking about would still be on as originally stated. No booting and no custom.

Has anyone actually let Bort know that this boycott is being discussed? It could get something done.

Personally, I don't believe PeeWee's should be passing in the first place, but that's just me. I'm one of the people who advocate for adding the old formations that real life Pee Wee teams use (like single wing, double wing and wishbone), and an option for the center to snap to whichever back you choose in the AI. Of course, now I'm getting complicated, and changing the scope of the thread.

I don't know if I'm up for the boycott just yet. This is my first season in PeeWee Leagues as an owner or player, so I'm still learning the intricacies of it. Before, I thought it was just a feeder league for Cap 13 teams. Now I know that its a different monster altogether. However, if you guys manage to get all of the owners to do this, I will show my solidarity by doing it too. I'll not be accused of being the team that's riding high on everyone else's boycott. That'd be too much like crossing a strike line.

Too bad there's 400+ on the waitlist and recruiting, wait till retirement happens

I'm down with the No Boosting, No CEQ movement

We need to be objective. I like Rob's idea of compiling a thorough list of issues first. The no boost/no custom/no day 31 threat is as big a hit to his wallet as all cpus, so makes the best threat in attempt to get things on the list resolved.

As a non-boosting team, I can't believe I'm even going to suggest this, but an alternative idea is to allow more than 3 boosts. This makes Bort more money and gets us passing. Or maybe make a pee-wee boost give you 2 levels instead of 1, so it's more favorable to do (and gets you more SPs).

I had the idea of using the Iron League idea in the PeeWee's. 15 player roster limit would be interesting to play with, and would better simulate PeeWee Leagues. Then, yeah, add double boosts since its only going to be a one year player, and will have a completely weird build. I also had the idea of a special type of player that you can buy. Instead of buying a regular player, you can buy a PeeWee League player who has special types of builds. If you couple it with the 15 player roster limit, and make PeeWee League level one like a regular level 4 player, then every level gives 10 SP instead of 5 (or maybe even 15 SP for each level), by the end of the season, you would actually have some pretty good teams. It would make money for Bort, and it would make things interesting for us.

Or you could take my ideas and twist them in any way to create something creative that would make the PeeWee Leagues a completely unique experience.
