I would have boosted before the game. It's tough enough beating Gold teams at my level, let alone boosted ones.

We tried to match the GCs boosts but only got halfway there by game time.
I'm stoked that we're meeting Short bus at even levels because we've never played them before and I think the privilege of Gold league is the opportunity to play a tough game every time and see how you stack up to the best. I don't play the game to just ride out the regular season in hopes of playoff glory, I play it to have fun, why would I limit my fun to the post season.
Besides, the "early boosters can't win in the playoffs" thing is bullshit, how many early boosters are going to put trophies on their shelves before people give up that ghost?
And don't sleep on those squirrels, they were tough last year and they're strait up good this year.

My assassin DT was a real nice roll too, we had a good group there, just never got any traction.
