It sucks for players who get 990 xp, and the season ends.

Using the current system, I pretty much have to have 5000 flex in my account each year in order to create new players and boost existing ones. If we started with 0 XP I could just re-use the same flex.

5000 might work for you, but I need about 35-45K at least.

On the surface this looks like a good idea and I'm not opposed to it but it does bring up the following questions:

I assume this would mean no day 31 builds for anyone in GLB, not just players that are being signed to PeeWee teams. So there would have to be a season cut-off date after which no players could be created, agents would probably have to wait until after play-offs are done, or day 41, to start creating new players? Would this turn off some new owners just coming into the game who find out they can't create a new player for a couple of weeks?

If no new builds were allowed until day 41 would that give owners who every season create new players enough time to build their 5000 flex points of players? Won't it be harder on the servers if all new players being built are now concentrated into a tighter time period?

Maybe leave the build date open and on day 1 of the regular season, every player who is signed to a PeeWee team has their XP automatically go to 900 at level 1.

I don't think it will be as concentrated compared to day 31. The only reason for day 31 so they can get an XP advantage. Making it so you can only create after day 41+ means that you would only lose training points so not much pressure would be on getting players made on day 41.

I think Bort is going to make it to where we dont have to "roll players" instead just assign the skill points where we want them. That should really free up the servers.

I doubt this will happen because the way it is now loosely forces you to purchase more flex/create players before you get your refund from the ones you already had created. If it became a Day 0 only thing someone could run a team for 10 seasons and only spent 4,000 flex (400 per season) plus the original cost of creating an entire team.

I was thinking this too. I usually purchase 20-50 bux worth around day 31, I wouldnt have to spend anything with the new set up.

Good idea, but a lot of drawbacks, and it'll be hard to get new players during a season. I'm neither for nor against.
