I've had flyers season tickets my entire life. Family bought into them in 1967 and we've had them since 95 (I went to the 97 cup.... you red wings fans might remember that destruction). I've been to the first 3 games this season and hope to get to at least 20 more this year depending on my work travel schedule. I'm stoked, there are so really great teams out there this season, especially in the Atlantic Division....

The ONLY Avs player I ever loved - Joe Sakic. Him and Yzerman were a lot alike IMO. I also used almost all his equipment when I played Hockey as well. Great player... class act.

Thats REALLY cool. Some amazing history there. And yes, I / We (Wings fans.) will NEVER forget 97'! One of the single greatest memories of my life. Im going to go put the DVD of it in right now! ;-)

Charlotte loves their Canes. Was in Charlotte a couple years back and there are a ton of Wings fans mixed with Canes fans there. Great people / fans. A ton of imported hockey fans but they are passionate and are a GREAT bunch of people to talk / watch hockey with! Mac's Speed Shop BBQ on South Blvd. is one of my fave places to watch hockey! Ugh. Fuck me. The GLB Season cant start fast enough. The Wings are getting destroyed! Their Defense is playing like such dog shit I could probly put up numbers on their asses tonight! No presence in front of their net in the defensive zone. This is going to be a long Season. Good job on the Sabres exploiting the Wings obvious weakness.

You should try it over in Raleigh. Can't throw a rock without hitting a car with Canes flags.
Just don't mention them in Greensboro. They hate the Canes.

The Wings... the Mule... not a great start.
No I'm not from Michigan, but been a fan since I was 4 and Yzerman was just making his start in the league. First hockey game I ever watched was a Wings game and the announcers were raving about this kid Yzerman. Then he scored a goal. Then Youngblood came out with the red n white jerseys a couple years later lol. I never recovered
