Holy fuck, I thought for sure we gained some levels this off season as I acquired a fair amount of FA's that were higher leveled than player they were replacing. I guess it's nice enough to be out of the cellar... feel like we can compete now.

Porto went on a huge recruiting push because this is our last season.

Yeah, Krakow seemed to have added a fair amount of high level guys as well (not really shocking, since I knew about it 10 or so days before they could actually sign the people) and I really hope Rico goes to shit... his blocking posse and all.

We actually haven't finished recruiting yet.

Everyone always cites recruitment as one of the things they hate about GLB, but I must admit, I quite enjoy it.

meh, I enjoy recruiting but it can definitely get frustrating. seems like every season i cannot find a good build in our last spot of need. then after spending countless hours of looking at builds that make you want to ask the agent what the hell he was thinking, you find something that's okay. no where near what you intended on bringing in, but best of a bad situation. you land guy really easy, and feel relieved that you didn't have to go with the guy who'd thread said "i can do it all: punt, throw, kick, tackle, catch... must see" and then it happens, 8 awesome builds show up and you don't have spot anymore. fuckin kills me.

You would not regret it. I've only ever seen one other owner who is as effective at recruiting as TG and that is a definite compliment to TG. He always does an amazing job.

Wow I have to say I'm really supprised that we are not only at the top of Zeta but 3 levels above every team save one. Especially after coming straight out of AAA i'm now even more pumped for this year.

Understand your 'pumpedness' but in this league points rarely mean prizes. Gameplanning is king!

That's very true, We've been shafted by that many, many times now. But now we have new OC's that look like they are going to take us to even higher levels. But we haven't even played a game in the pros so we can't get too excited yet.

You also have the least number of players, which helps the average. A lot of the other teams had extra players but a few in the 50s still that brought their averages down... but perhaps players for the future and depth to help out and perhaps improve people's special team plays, etc, etc. If I would just list everyone's starters / top 40 players it would likely be much closer

It will be interesting to see how much depth helps..... but of course the season is a lot more than just who has the most levels.
