Those were the days. The Mole-Rats where considered to be unbeatable that season, and that win is one of the biggest in Alpine's history. The playoff game was a great game as well where we were tied in the 4th quarter. Three turnovers from us gave you a comfortable win though.

interesting that most of the teams here or at least the ones that posted lol worked their way up from close to the bottom.

IMO, the "Legacy Teams" in general were at a disadvantage. They started at the top. Maintaining is much more difficult than achieving. The lower league teams always had a target to shoot for, accomplishments that could be measured each season. I think the game was more fun for the lower leagued guys at the beginning.
