He could probably be coerced (free flex, anyone?) into doing the rankings again. Nothing for the pre-season...probably won't appear until Week 4 or so.

Ah, the good 'ole days. rocklee711 has owned the Black Cats for what, six or seven seasons now? Dan's still a GM, co-owner, and has players on the team...but rock and his brother (ep3388) run the team.

It feels like a Canada A #6 reunion here. Queen City, Nebraska, Halifax, Hillsburgh, and St. John's all back together again. So many others (Cheyenne Mountain, Sudbury, Vinland, Vancouver, Revelstoke, Saskatchewan, Cold Lake) have come & gone...

oh yeah...I should've remembered rocklee. The transition was so seemless, it was hard to take notice, they just kept on winning and never skipped a beat.

Dan PMed me after the Hash won to welcome me to CPL. I asked if we was still doing rankings, he said he hadn't in awhile, but it seemed like he may have the left the door open, so I was just going for a little public peer pressure.

Yeah, I think all remaining teams from the inaugaral class of A6 are finally up in CPL competing against eachother again.

The A6 forum was nothing compared to the legend that is the CPL forum, but we had some pretty good smack running back and forth.

Looking forward to rekindling some of the old rivalries. Since there's no more A leagues, is there anywhere to find the archives from those original days to relive some of the epic smack exchanged, or are they lost to history forever?

Kelowna Outlaws: Canada AA.....those guys were like the easiest cupcake team ever

Calgary Thunder: Solid team, same owner, this season AA, fighting to get into AAA

Toronto Smoke: AA ball, but not really doing much.

Yeah, that was a different game; we've had some great battles. I know that I've lost two of those bets in my career. Was that the one that big poppa (by then a GM for us) made a logo bet, we lost, he welched, and so to preserve the team's honor I changed my logo, or was that against SJSD?

Wow.... I was just talking to EP about who the original A6 teams were. I know the Vinland Vikings (AAA last year) disbanded and so did the Sasquatches last year as well.

There's only a handful of us now and it is nice to finally see everyone up here in CPL.

Here's a good question.... who was the FIRST team from A6 in CPL? It's not QCBC (even though we're in our 4th year and clearly the top of the class ).
