That does make it a lot more work for me to scout, and it will also make it a lot more work as an OC to confuse the defense about what I'm actually trying to call.

This could make next season an even bigger pain in my ass.

yes teams can use whatever they want to tag

if they notice a TE who has 100 catches a season, a team can tag for when he is in and put a CB or somebody on him to try and shut him down.

when your powerback is in, they will tag him, all this is doing is finally giving the edge to the defense, since offense has always had the edge. if anything I think it creates a level playing field for once

Have you seen how many good pee wee games end up 14-0? We don't need more defense!

Why are all the big innovations always on defense. Enough already,.

Nice. I love it. I'm going to rush with my passing QB all season just to confuse them on which QB is which. :-)

That or I'm going to keep ALL of my players off the depth chart until gametime.

WTF would keeping them off the DC do!? Is it that hard for someone to click on your roster button and click on the guy to figure out what he is?

totally agree.

hurts specialized builds a lot

now i have to figure out a way to use builds in multiple scenarios. so i end up rounding them out. i no longer have a power back and an elusive back. i have two generic HBs with some power and some speed who i can interchange so the defense doesn't overcompensate for either. in doing so i lose any edge i had over the defense.

or i end up using so many decoys and tricks to "fool" the defense that my specialized builds become useless anyway. whats the point of having a powerback if all im going to do is use him to fool the defense into loading up the box. eventually he will become useless.

defense already overpowers offense in PeeWee imo. this just makes it even worse.

I tend to have to agree with objections perspectives.

this tagging sounds interesting, but when is bort gonna put in a offenseive audible to compensate for defensive overloads? I'm gonna have to quit my day job to keep up with teams in here!

I think will all the little tricks and customizations that the D has, Bort has to step it up and give the O side of the ball a little more to work with.

or atleast give us a headstart in peewee passing. you gotta specifically train all season long to make the passing game a reasonable threat. Maybe different player selections. like spend the flex to build a WR(same as it's always been) or choose peeweeWR(semi-advanced skills, but auto retires after 1 season). Maybe the same with the qb spot.

A few of us are putting an experimental team together next season to see what works out of certain builds. My QB had 76.8 throwing, 48.8 vision, 30.8 confidence, 20.8 strength, and 15.4 agility, but still was only completing just over half of his passes. I'm sure that most of those were drops, but I wonder if I brought in my level 49 QB how much better that completion % would be?

The official nerf to the QB rushing in Pee-Wees and all the other crap we started. People have been whining like 5 year olds about rushing QBs ruining the game, half backs doing this and that, honestly, I'd say fuck it. Those whiners, yeah, they've got a combined ZERO championships, why? Because they think they have a good offense, and in all honesty, it sucks. Just another way to try to balance the offense and defense this year, hopefully it doesn't give the defense too much power.
