We ran 5WR a couple times, and you ran the same MLB blitz. Every other blitz is, I'm pretty sure, not an exploit. Our defensive ends have kicked ass all season, our defensive ends destroyed your QBs in our regular season game.

If you're going to sit here and say the result wouldn't have changed...and it didn't matter...then for crying out loud, stop whining about it. Adjust your playcalling. Your gameplan was beyond predictable. It took me all of 30 mintues of scouting to pin down 80% of your offense. Even with this, I didn't feel Hazy took proper advantage of it at times (but Blank did).

Look inwards on failure, not outwards. That all said, good luck next season. Hope we don't need to be seeing you (no offense )


No doubt the screen from the 1 was bad! and that is on me!!

But I honestly do not want this to turn into another discussion about Oline coding, we've done that and I admit, I shouldnt have even brought it up!!!!!!!!...my bad, bad me, shame on me and I take it back, does no good, asks for leniency.

So, let me say again, Good game...we represented well on offense with 400 yards even with getting sacked 7x, maybe should have been better but definitely could have been worse imo. We couldnt stop your running game and that was the difference.

Oline coding has sucked since this game was born, I mean, it is what it is :/ Every time Bort fixes one thing, he opens up another. It's like a cockroach.

There were only 4 super man double team acceleration exploit sacks in the game, and frankly it wouldn't have mattered. I completely ignored your WRs and conceded the QB boot, focusing 100% on your HBs...

... and they still ran for 227 yards and recieved 117 yards.

GG Wolfpack, we just couldn't stop you. Period. Much respect to you, hazy (and to Pain, tbh). Good luck the rest of the way.


BTW, the 2 best teams in this conference (by a large margin) are still left.

I was about to say screens inside the 5 (+5) are win. I didn't realize the screen called was from the -1. Yikes.

My emotions about the Oline coding(which I agree Islander, has sucked since inception to one degree or another) kinda boiled over for me this season...the minute we all had to eliminate the 5WR sets due to constant sacks ticked me off, the DE splitting double teams constantly frustrates me as well...

BUT, you guys outplayed us anyway and I give you all the respect...again, frustration with limiting playbooks and Borts aversion to certain fixes boiled over and should not have come out in this game with you, my apology.

I can pretty much stop screens inside the 5. I just need to think they are coming. Screens used to be the biggest hole in our defense. Used to be.

screens inside the +5 irl suck, terribad' call in the real game. But in GLB most DC's blitz the shit out of the strong B/C gaps and the play opens up. If the DE doesn't make the play (tfl or pd) they usually score.

Screens in the real game are slower developing than in glb.
