I think for most positions there comes a time when putting points into SAs instead of needing a huge amount of points to raise your main attribute or slowly increasing already high secondary stats is a good idea. The real trick is finding the ones that make a noticeable impact and having advanced equipment to help boost them so you don't have to use as many skill points.
