just trying to figure out what the minimum needed is... it seems like for a pass rushing DT then 73-77 capped speed is where you start seeing production and before that you're just getting hurries or nothing at all. For a DE sounds like it's 80-90 speed.

I took agility and speed to 77, then took agility to 81.
Think 77 would be an okay minimum if all your equipment goes there.

To much agility for that level IMO, not quite enough speed...Or strength it sounds like.....I'm also a big believer in height and weight...So at 270 +, it's going to take more to get him moving...Compared to say mine, who is 254...And gets sacks even in losses with about the same attributes...Also looks like you added/added to much in tackling.

Too much agility doesn't exist.
It's the SAs. I have plenty of strength... Hardly ever get reverse pancaked even by the stronger guys. His tackling is first capped and I don't plan on raising it anymore.

I didn't start seeing great production from one of my DTs until I got speed over 85. He doesn't have super high agility though.

My level 37 DE has found more sack success when speed and agility are equal. Early in the season I tried putting all equipment in agility, so I had about 20 more points in agility than speed, but didn't have much luck. Once I reconfigured my equipment to even every thing up, that's when my player kicked it into gear. So far, he has 24 sacks, despite normally playing teams that out level my team.

i agree with 90 speed being a good target for DEs with agility in the 100s.

i cant stress enough how important defensive scheme is. you haev to speak with your DC and see how he wants to use you. the further away you line up from a tackle, the more speed i'd use. teh closer you are to the tackle, the more agility and strength.
