Not exactly the safest idea. I feel like breathing in the air there could give me an STD

Now in California...you got your pick. We got it all, and chances are, you'll find a girl that'll tickle your fancy no matter where you go.

I live in California, and been to PA, AZ, & FL plenty.

PA isn't great, and the CA, AZ & FL girls are pretty nice...but I think a lot of that is they just wear less clothes, lol. Skimpy outfits are often mistaken for 'hotness'.

I'd prefer tailgating in the south any day...check out a LSU, Ole Miss, or Alabama game. Those girls know how to tailgate!

That is how many players it takes to fill Gold and Silver.

That doesn't include any players that go into Copper.

That is another 28160 if every team was filled.

That would be 44000 players. I don't even want to figure the flex...

No wonder it is so hard to get new Pee Wee players!

Are you assuming full rosters of 55? B/C teams really only need about 48.

wrong Ping, you need 55 to be competitive against tough teams

I understand the argument, but I just don't see how having a handful of guys who are 3-4 levels behind that primarily play special teams helps all that much.

First of all, I think it makes your special teams worse.

Second, most of the games against the top teams are low-scoring anyway affairs with few punts anyway, negating the effect of the extra players. And if it's in a tight game, I'd rather have a good player with 50-60 energy playing than a player a few levels lower with 90 energy.

Third, we don't really seem to have energy problems in close games. The only time we have guys dip below 50 energy is when they're on the kickoff team and we score 12+ touchdowns...which is never a close game anyway.

Fourth, I often times prefer having 2nd team guys on special teams to help ensure they get max XP.

So would I prefer 1 or 2 guys who are special teams studs? Sure. But having 4 or 5 fewer scrubs on your teams doesn't make that big of a difference in my eyes.

Addition:
I really mean this as a discussion starter. If I'm wrong, I would love to be shown the light...I'm all for doing anything I can to help my teams win. So please, comment away.

special team guys can get just as much playing time and not be levels behind, if they are than you are not doing it right.

but go ahead and build your team of 48 and see how it does for you, prove me wrong.

I am wrong sometimes

If they didn't put a cap on rosters you would see what the difference is/was

^ Hahaha, we call 'em whores/bimbos. Not a fan. But it all comes down to personal taste I suppose in the end. To each their own, yea?

And to make this post on topic...

Is there a general consensus on what is more efficient?

Purpose-built ST players who are studs
- possibility of being under-leveled?
- very limited in purpose, i.e not very flexible.
- Costs the team more, more people to manage, harder to maximize XP gain
- allow the first stringers to retain more energy throughout the game

Second-team guys who can play ST
- Very flexible
- not as many people to manage, maximize XP gain per player
- Not as good ST play
- Uses valuable energy on ST, where there are not as many plays

Can we get some gold opinions on how to manage ST? I have an extremely limited idea of how to manage personnel and would love to learn.

Centers was the old way, the new trend is DEs. All teams are different. In Gold you need a very good DF so I like to have depth on my DF side. Before the Roster limit, I created an entire STs with Centers, my special teams would score more than our offense in half the games we played. I think they all had around 30-40 speed and they would open up huge lanes for the return guys. Made great tacklers as well. I boosted the whole set and they avg the same level as the rest of the team even though thats all they played. It won't work now though because in Gold your not going to stomp on teams 100 plus each game allowing the Centers to get the xp. That and the fact that you can now only have 55 players.

I've never liked a ST's unit, I always preferred the extra guys on defense and offense (even before the 55 cap).

Also if guys aren't good enough to play on my normal defense, I'm sure as heck not putting them on ST's (I've run a fair few easy TD's back on punts in gold against teams with a lot of C's on ST's).
