just because you have a decent average doesnt mean conf isnt key

i mean if my team sucked i could have a huge average too

back in the old days you could roll 7s in some attributes

What does having a team that sucks have to do with Punting average? Unless you invested 15 SP in Big Heart (Which I don't have any of).

well if your team cant get past the 50 of course you can have a good average...

Here is the regular season record of the team he has played on since season 6:

S6 - 13-3
S7 - 10-6
S8 - 11-5
S9 - 13-3
S10 - 4-10
S11 - 9-4

With the slight exception of season 10, I am not sure where you get the idea that he has been playing for bad teams.

I think having an out-matched Special Team is the reason someone gets return TDs. Punters has an extremely small role.

100% agree with you there chief.

FYI my punting style is tilted towards the Hang time side (+30). Also, out of my 40 VA points, I got 15 of them invested in Motivation Speaker. This does absolutely nothing for my avg. but, it helps out the team, which is far more important.

Damn, you got me there. Did you look through all of my 300+ punts and find the worse one possible?

I could just as easily cherry pick a bunch of Micheal Jordan's replays, package them into a highlight reel and make him look like one of the worst players in NBA history.

no it only took me 2 seconds to find a bad punt ....just have to look at a good team that you dont way overmatch....

That's outstanding.

My jaw hit the floor when I saw he dragged out that "chart" for attributes to fire SA's. They were discredited by the developer back in Season 5 and I haven't seen them since ... until yesterday. I'm pretty sure there's more credibility to the build advice given by a monkey humping a doorknob than what StudMuffin offers.

Yes, CONFIDENCE is important [from what I gather in the totality of this "K/P Club" forum. I don't see bringing it past 68 on my Kicker. The argument of "there's nothing else to spend SP's on later" is the reasoning for it, too.

It's easy to get a great average when you always punt from your 20 yard line. The trick is those punts from their 40-45 than only travel 35 yards and go out of bounds! Now that's a great play. How does your guy do on coffin corners?

kick/punt and conf both go up by one each level up

the rest .17

so take kicking or punting to 74 then take conf to 74 youll pretty much max out at around lvl 60

also you actually might help your team get a safety....
