Maybe that's true right now,
But they weren't in the past when everyone was growing up at the same time.
And now that all the S1 players are hitting their ceiling the lower leagues will catch up on talent to where AA and AAA teams will have equal levels to the Pro teams. It will come down to management and Game Planning. The best will continue to float up to the top (Pro).

Maybe so, but it's never a bad thing to be able to obtain the success of winning a league, it's not about the little golden image on your page it's about being able to accomplish being the top team in a respective league, something that unfortunately WSR has not obtained yet, and while yes, perhaps at lower levels it means nothing in comparison to doing it in Pro, you've got to start building (or rebuilding) success somewhere right? Like I said, I guarantee we'll be back very soon. But in order to play better here, I feel it's in my teams best interest to build elsewhere.

Now that there's a World League, I'm compelled to believe that even the Pro League trophies are worthless. What's the point of winning in a league where all the best teams are collected in a league above you? We're all underachievers here in OPL. The best teams in this league are still "runner-ups".

That's almost like saying that the National Championship is irrelevant because the Super Bowl exists.

i knew you were going to say that.
the difference is that most of the players on the national championship team will never advance to the NFL, so to the majority of college players, the National Championship is the best there is.
and for those that DO advance to the NFL, those National Championships are worthless. The Super Bowl is the only thing there is.
In GLB, everybody that gets the gold, moves up. And nobody cares about that gold anymore.

That's not really a difference. How many teams make it to the WPL? 32. How many players advance there? 1,760 max. How many players do you think are on GLB? Too many.
In a span of 10 seasons, 17,600 players AT MAX go through WPL, that's assuming that the teams are different each year, but they probably won't be, not all of them that is, so there are a TON of players that'll never get to play in WPL. to those players, just like College players, the League Championships are very relevant.

I wonder what sort of answer you would get if you asked a National Champion (who did not make it into the NFL) if they would trade that National Championship trophy for an NFL career.

I'm sure they would say yes, but you know what, they don't have that luxury, which is why the National Title is important. Hey, we have different opinions, I dig that, to you, all success is now meaningless unless it occurs in WPL, to me, I enjoy being successful no matter where it is.

Everybody that wins the gold here will advance to the WPL. Can't say the same with College champs going to the NFL. There is indeed a difference.

You are missing my point. Success is meaningful in whatever league you're in. But once you advance, all your previous trophies are worthless.

More importantly, I wonder if you asked NFL players if their National Championships were worthless, what they'd say.
I bet they'd shove their fists into your face.

I think not meaning anything moving forward and being worthless are totally different things, so I respectfully disagree. I think there are many things that make you the team you are and the swagger you have moving up a league. The Tigers won 2 Championships and I'm proud of them, but they mean nothing in the Pro league I'm fighting to move up from currently. However, on the same note, winning those trophies on the way up made me the owner I am, made me find the best talent to put on my team in both players and coordinators to make damn sure we won more trophies in the future...so in my opinion, that would make them worth something.
Semantics really.
