"Too much" only occurs in two situations:
1. With specific matchups.
In example: A center with 150 strength versus a DT with 95 strength, 150 strength is too much. He'd still be getting a pancake every play with probably 25-30 less, so the SP it took to raise strength beyond that amount, for that matchup, could have been better placed elsewhere.
The problem however, is that not every DT will have 95 strength, if you get me.

and
2. When it's used so excessively that you lack too greatly in other important areas.
That's pretty self explanatory. If you raise your catching to 150 or 160 as a receiver, you'll probably end up with less than 60/60 speed agi and never get anywhere, therefor never catch the ball so your catching is useless.

As for an LB... I could see a MLB with 105 agility without seeing much trouble elsewhere, maybe 80ish for a LOLB (they need a bit more diversity), and imo ROLB needs very high agility... even something like 120 wouldn't be too much. These numbers are equipment inclusive of course.

I have seen LBs with 95+ agility perform very well. I have also seen 75 agility work well. Depends on their role and th DPC set up.
