Strategy: Builds – Invest in stamina early, but not too much!

(Build information in this guide will be a basic overview of general info. Included with your purchase of this guide you can PM me w/build questions as each team and player is going to have unique circumstances that need to handled on a case by case basis.)

Stamina is something that you must raise to certain levels in the long term. It is best to build your player’s stamina first, that way you get to save as much energy in the development years to maximize opportunities for training for the long term. i.e. if you are planning on playing with 1 QB on your team, no harm in getting his stamina to 40 before anything else, THEN fill in the rest. He’s going to need 40 eventually, get that out of the way first since that effects his ability to gain SPs in training. But don’t start putting your OL players at 40, because you can get away with 30 stamina on an OL at level 30 if you have enough of them on your roster! In fact, any player at any position can get away with only 30 stamina if you carry a lot of depth, so don’t go overboard, but get to that 30 mark at least, as soon as you create your player. Long term, if you have 4 OTs on your team, then having each of them at 30 means they can have enough energy to play but also put those extra points saved into other skills.

Wow, those players sure will suck come Seasons 6,7,8,9,10, and 11.

They better hope they get at least one guy to shine for them each year.

Thats about the time you go back to the recruiting train....

Strategy Tip: Be funny! Or show that you care to learn about him!

There is no substitute for humor. If you aren’t copying and pasting some messages to recruits and if you have the time, insert a joke, there must be something about that player’s user name, or his player’s name, or a team he played for. Say something to break the ice. Complement him on his avatar, anything. Ask him where he’s from and what his hobbies are, maybe he’s a dork just like you! See, I was being funny there! Maybe send him a funny video clip on the net that applies to a subject you are discussing? Tell him about the characters you have on your team. Anything, just get to know the guy and make him want to get to know you and your team.

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

This would never work, recruits would never sign with a team just because they think they're "funny".

If his avatar is striped, then, by god, DO NOT use your polka dot avatar when talking to him.

That's funny, when I search for that word within my strategy guide contents, I am unable to find misspelled occurrences of that word. But don't let me spoil your fun! lol

I would also have to say that I cast my vote in support of the argument that TSE is an expert, with my strongest rationale to date being that DDL hasn't won hardly any games the last several years, yet so many people think that TSE is so big and powerful and prominent in this game that they can't resist daily interactions with him and threads honoring him in the title with their continuous debate; whether positive or negative, the amount of action that you show to discussing my character on a regular basis is such a splendid surprise that I mean so much to y'all.

Thanks! (threw this line in to help out with the rate of words per sentence in this post)
